Felt good to take a few weeks off. Hoping for a good rest of the year.

Bottom line, George is the better fighter here and he's on a mission to prove himself after the Byrd coming out party. I had Henry against Mack so it's very possible I just don't have a good feel for the guy, but until I see more out of him than being a hard headed, straight forward plodder, he's getting faded against the elite at 175, which is what I think George currently passes for.

STRONG lean toward the Kong/ Vic O9.5 -110.

BOL this weekend guys.

Pretty much. But Agbeko is still a big question mark at this level IMO. It's good for him that he's seen a lot of southpaws over his last few fights, it's not good for him that it's in his nature to exchange instead of box. I've read that Vic is going to put a greater emphasis on being technical, and in general, Ghanaians are rugged as all hell.
I'd be surprised if Vic came out and completely obliterated him.

The fifth round just ended, and I can't help but think that something is wrong with George.  He is barely throwing or moving.  Something seems wrong.

even during the first round when obvious george could of got the job down he looked like shit.....i forgot to add pcp gives emormous amounts of strength...yay for pcp....jk....

Absolutely no explaining George, outside of the good points Graham brought up in his writeup, and yet ANOTHER New York fighter proving himself heartless and/ or fragile. I hate blanket generalizations, but this list just continues to grow.

Shaun George, Zab Judah, Daniel Judah, Sechew Powell, Gary Stark Jr., Frankie Figueroa, Paulie Malinaggi... I am done with these guys until I start to see the Big Apple start turning it around. Danny Jacobs is the lone bright spot in a pile of utter garbage.

USS just can't crack. Amazing since he might have the best physique since Evander.

I'll take the parlay and just forget about Shaun George, along with all of the other NYC crybabies who fill up columns then crap themselves on fight night.

As much as I dislike him, I don't think you can put Malinaggi in that group.  He was pissed when McGirt stopped the Hatton fight, he took a serious beating from Cotto, and he always fights through hand problems. 
 
Also, there are a ton of guys from NY who are the opposite of what you are describing.

You're right about Paulie, he has heart for days.

We're on the same page with Jacobs Cee. I like him, but I've got my doubts.

Chalky but solid IMO.

Excited about Lock - Escalante, but not from a betting perspective.

proabley do a parlay with the similar anitilion and moses......esclante.....i really wanna say i like locke here and out of all the underdogs he proabley the most likely to win but esclante is at a different level and i will most likely lean his way unless i have a change of heart.........

i heard shledon had a great camp and even though quendo should win at 5 to 1 sheldon has pop and not too many guys get ko;d versus john ruiz....that quendo and toney fight easily goes out the door in my brain.......sheldon always looks great to bad he doesnt take a punch to well but quendo isnt the hardest hitter in the game just one of those guys who works you....

My first thought there was to the over, but I agree, there's probably some value in Sheldon at the number. I'm on a heavyweight free diet again though... good luck if you take a shot.

Very impressed by Escalante.

Probably no one will see this on time, but 5dimes has a steal right now on the Tour de France. I've got 5 units on Lance to retain his 3rd place finish at +170, and they confirmed it's not a line error. I just don't see Frank Schleck taking the necessary time out of Lance up on Ventoux, Wiggins doesn't have the legs. Kloden doesn't either, plus he won't attack a teammate.

Amazing value.

Well, the month closes on a high note for me, but not thanks to boxing. I swear, every time in the last few months I've read a "feel good" article about a fighter, they've lost. I hope someone posts Acosta - Antillon, it sounds like a good one.

July has been the month of the unknown lightweight.
