I really, really like this fight, because it should be entertaining. Unfortunately, Danny Garcia is probably going to get brutalized. Why? It's a really simple equation...
1. He has below average hand speed.
Garcia is going to have to load up and hurt Khan to win this fight. Boxing shouldn't be an option, as he simply doesn't have the ability to outbox Khan. The only problem is that Khan is going to get there first - again and again and again and.. you get the picture.
2. He puts on prodding pressure, walking straight forward with little to no head movement or lateral movement of any kind. He'll take one to give one. That's usually a good proposition for him, but tonight he is facing someone that might inflict too much damage for this to be a winning strategy for him.
3. Khan has a notoriously "iffy" beard. While this has improved, it's still more fact than fiction. Garcia will test him at some point early in this fight. We all know how that has went for Khan against Prescott.
Don't see either of these guys engaging in a grueling back-and-forth battle for the full 12 rounds. Somebody's going out, probably in the 7th, 8th round.
Fight Won't Go the Distance, -150, 22.5 units to win 15

It's over Danny Garcia TKO 4. Khan was dominating, caught by a huge left hook with :20 left in the third. Khan comes out on weak legs in the 4th, can barely stand, down again. Khan gets up and starts taking big punches and throwing big ones back. Khan clipped on the top of the head, makes it up. Kenny Bayless asks him if he's OK, Khan responds slow, fight waived off!!

Khan got hit with a wild shot he never saw coming. Obviously he never recovered. This is one of the biggest upsets I've seen in a long time. If these 2 fought 10 times , I believe Khan would win 9 out of 10. That's why there are no sure things in betting boxing. Nice hit on the Under!

Another delisiounal loser. Keep thinking it's "luck". That left hook is dannys signautre punch and Khan lunges in and keeps his head high in the air. I saw the KO coming from round1.

I agree with the 9 times out of 10 thing, not the biggest upset as khan is the most over rated guy in the world, and garcia did prove that, and as weak as khan's chin is, his game plan was weaker, good win for garcia though.

khan is rated by most ( not me)as a top 20 pound for pound guy, no one in the world even has garcia top 100, so their it is. in reality I train with guys most every day who would do the same thing to khan, did not think the slow garcia would be the one who would, but khan fought a stupid fight and garcia capitilized

Thats pretty deep....I heard him say " khan fought like a one legged man in an ass kicking contest." I'd like to see Garcia vs JL Castillo in an action fight.

In sports winning is the ONLY thing that matters, to me that is, I do not care if I was just involved in the greatest war/action fight of all time, if I lost, than to me it is a bad performance that would haunt me, with some athletes it can sometimes be different, based on the curcumstances involved, like say emanuel augustus, the man finished with a record of 38 wins and 34 losses, but in reality was one hell of a fighter, just fought under tough situations throughout his career and was fucked over more times than any fighter in modern times. I respect this man as much as any, but that is a very rare case, most guys with that record are simply bums, but to me, as a fighter myself, it is ONLY about winning, not how I fought or how the public feels for me. of course I do care about what the fans think and I would never stink the joint out, but their feelings are secondary to the victory. to be considered a great fighter you must win, not be more popular than the next guy, I guess it depends on what type of person that you are, mike mccallum was a winner and a great fighter but really was not taken in by the fans, where arturo gatti, lost most of his big ones but was adored by the fans, to me I would rather have less fans and more wins, rather than all the fans and come up short, others I am sure would disagree.
