i just saw this and didnt know until now so I figured maybe some of you didnt know either

good deal even though it will probably suck

The Hep-b fears will come into play; if Ruslan Chagaev drips one single solitary drop of blood.

I would tend to agree that Wald will bicycle a lot vs. any given southpaw. Even moreso one that is a bit brave and tatically savvy such as RC. But just one cut and all 60,000 people in attendance will be "oooooh" and "awwwwwing". Ditto the righside Doc. This fight is on Wald's homecourt. I expect that favors or you might say fans any Hep-b fears all the more.

Sans the contiminated blood phobia surrounding RC; I would otherwise see RC giving Wlad a good go. But I also liked seeing Wald add some right-mass while cutting a little weight. Clearly Wald was itching to scratch David "the mouth" Haye up a bit; cutting nearly 5 lbs. when he was no where near being fat to begin with. Putting him at his second lowest mark since 2ooo. RC is at his lowest weight since 2oo4.

This should be a great fight. RC might even be the best Heavyweight not named Klitschko overall (if his Achilles is a-ok). But the blood will be a factor here.

Wlad 7th-9th.
Wlad 10th-12th.
Fight will not go the Distance.
Wald ITD.
Wald as a pure side (old parlay).

Klitcho is vaccinated from hepatitis B as more Europeans are. So that is not a factor.

They Both fight in Germany may be a Klitcho crowd, but Both fought their Pro careers in Germany.

If in fact David haye got under Klitcho's skin that was advantage to David Haye. Being haye is a is a blown up cruiser weight, he never had a chance against Klitcho.

I think Chagaev is the better boxer here. He is giving up a ton of weight and reach, both guys come in great shape as both were preparing for a fight.

So the mere fact that Chagaev is  being tosses in there is advantage to Chagaev. He is also a South Paw, and some reason Klitcho tends to back up against south paws.

Chagaev has pretty good defense, the one flaw he has is he leaves himself open after throwing his left (his best punch).

I like the over in his fight over 9.5 -130

Also a  VERY tiny play on Chagaev +550 worth throwing $25 or so on him as I see he has a CHANCE (the best in many fights). At this price I feel he is a value, not really a pick just a value bet as I feel he is a semi live dog.

Again these are MY PICKS please this is a forum for discussion, if you wager, don't follow my picks or anyone else for that matter. In the end it's YOUR money, make your own pick.

man i wish that someone with skill and heart would fight this klitschko...
 
all he does is paw with that left, if someone could eat a couple to test that glass chin it would be sanders all over again....
 
Man this division is a disgrace and welterweight division is the only way boxing can stay within reach of MMA the rest of the year

Fight won't go the Distance-165.

Wlad is now officially perfected for his limitations. Praise be to Manny Stew for that. That was the best I've seen of Wlad in a year or two or three. A little bit fluid at times. Still no body-work. Still extremely predictable and game-plan-able for such. But still champion of the World! Very difficult to work through that trip-hammer lead-jab of Wlad's. I'm not sure if there is anyone who can beat this now peaking Dub.K???

Not knocking pac-man but Oscar was washed up so was Hatton, and Punchy Freddie Roach.. said " I only took the fight because Oscar couldn't pull the trigger anymore". "I only took Hatton because he has so many flaws it was an easy fight for Manny".

Klitcho probably will never be tested again, actually David Haye PULLING OUT makes Haye seem like a Genius.. #3 Ranked guy with a belt got destroyed... who else is there? NOW makes David Haye even more appealing.. even though I believe he is too small for Klitcho...

At least Haye would GO after Klitcho, and  go out swinging.

Now that a heavyweight title fight lost the TV battle to MLS SOCCER I think we can stick a fork in our favorite sport. It's a sad, sad, sad, sad, day in boxing history.

That's an overreaction.  Boxing is doing just fine without the heavyweights.  Besides, how many paying customers were in the building?  And in Montreal on Friday night?  The whole 'boxing is dying' angle is tired and wrong.
