Any thoughts on the likely outcome?

From watching the first fight again, it's apparent that the idea that Peter knocked Klit down 3 times is more myth than reality. At least 2 were more pushes behind the neck than actual KDs, with Wlad going over off balance from a punch/push rather than from concussive blow. The key being that he popped right back up again with absolutely no apparent damage.

Here we are, 5 years later, and the odds have gone from Klit being an unbelievable +175 in the first fight to an equally unbelievable

-900 in this fight. That must surely be one of the biggest swings in the history of boxing between the first fight and the rematch.

My inclination has been to bet the Wlad by KO at about -140 or so. My thinking has been that unlike a guy like Chambers, who basically ran around the ring all night with his hands up to protect his head, Peter will come right after Wlad, thinking that he has his number and can take him out (he apparently believes the revisionist history regarding the "knockdowns" in the first fight).

As such, Peter will be there to be hit, and although Peter can take a punch, if he gets in range of the new and improved Wlad (compared to 5 years ago), I simply can't see him lasting 12 rounds.

In theory, Peter could win, but at this stage in their respective careers I struggle to picture Peter being able to KO the careful and elusive Wlad. Peter is clumsy and awkward, and against the current model of Wlad Peter is, in my view, quite unlikely to be able to land a big bomb ....and a points win by Peter is a virtual impossibility.

So to me, the value lies in the Wlad by KO.

Klitschko beats the hell out of him, I don&#x27;t see how it can go past 6 or 7 rounds, klitschko has improved since the last fight while peter has declined, the fact that klitschko just entered the ring mag. top 10 pound for pound kinda pisses me off a little, he has clearly been on of the top 5 fighters in the world for a few years now, its not his fault that the heavyweight divison is weak, just as it was not roy jones&#x27;s  fault that the lightheavy div. wasn&#x27;t overly deep when he ruled it.

&#xD;&#xA;Rule #1 Never bet too big against a heavyweight with power (Sam Peter).&#xD;&#xA;Klitsko SHOULD win of course, but Peter&#x27;s lower than normal weight is a sign that he&#x27;s actually training. Peter&#x27;s career has gone downhill but I actually see improvement in his technique.Peter&#x27;s punch technique has improved sice the first Toney fight. His 1 and 2 are being thrown straighter and with more snap. He used to simply throw only round haymakers. Klitsko&#x27;s camp has been talking early KO, but i say mid-to-late KO.

For me this is a No Play. Peter is a tough guy. Wlad is going to give him enormous respect because he flattened him 3 times in their fight 5 years ago so I expect a cautious start. Now Wlad has gone one way and Peter the other and Wlad should KO him.

Then you looking at the over/under and for me that's just gambling as one way or another your sweating. A few mojito's and hope for a decent fight methinks. My missues is really getting into boxing after I gave her lessons the past few months, so that's a big help! Women should not be aloud near speed bags..

However, I say.. based on what? Peter IN SHAPE is a better man than the one that had Wlad in serious trouble in that fight. Also, Peter wasn&#x27;t an amateur wizard. He is/was learning on the job. He is peaking----------not peaked. I sense someone has to breakup the stranglehold. Peter might just do it. If you had to bet this fight ten times, Peter by KO is a winner more often than not. &#xD;&#xA;Does that mean he&#x27;ll win? Of course not. Does it mean he is the better part of a silly line? Yes. No more, no less.

Peter being in shape, not buying it. I have seen so many fighters show up in shape and be a serious let down. The line for a Wlad KO is -175 which is crazy when you consider that a) apparently Peter is in great shape and b) he has a good chin. I remember saying to London I would have priced the line for points and the KO the same -120. Seems the books what me to play on Wlad Points.

Can't get a read on this. playing 700 to win 400 on the Wlad KO for an interest.

Peter likes to fight on the outside to much. Wlad can control the pace if there is too much distance between the 2 fighters. Wlad has become adept at tying up his opponents when fighting  in close. I just can&#x27;t see Peter winning unless he forces an inside fight &amp; roughs the bigger man up. Doubt he can be successful at it especially with a biased referee. Wlad by late stoppage.
