I see this fight much easier for Lamont Peterson this time around. Last fight Peterson tried boxing and was knocked down (mroe off balance) and was getting caught by Khan because he was pulling straight back. By the end of round 3 he had turned to plan B and that was make it a dog fight and pound Khan on the inside and it worked.
Amir Con is a flawed fighter who cannot fight on the inside. Instead of using defense, he uses his legs as defense. He is a very fast boxer with great hand speed, but he seems to tire in the later rounds and doesn't make any type of adjustments. his pitty pat punches look almost amaturish.
I see Peterson coming in from the opening bell and establishing inside dominance from the opening bell and possibly getting a late KO.
I can also see a robbery taking place and if the fight goes to the scorecards Khan getting a gift decision. I believe Peterson knows this and will go for the KO. He's referenced it quite a bit in interviews that he'll get Khan out of there. Peterson is a very confident, determined, tough fighter. Great amaturer backround and locks of skills.
