Williams barely beat S. Martinez (which I don't believe he did) but all that being said........ FM would find a way to beat Willaims inspite of the fact that PW is the jab king.

Question.

With FM's victory over SSM has he priced himself out of the market and does he have many marque fights left?????

Other than PacMan ( Great Money....... I don't believe that it would be a good match up.)

S. Martinez (Not good money ...... Martinez is a great athlete but an average boxer with very good speed)

A. Berto (Average money...... up and coming fighter..... but I believe is presently underachieving on his talent)

Where does FM go?????

Licialen that is a good question. I think Floyd now has 3 options. He could fight Manny Pacquaio and give the fans what we all want. I honestly don't know if the fight will happen. I was wrong when I said Floyd would not fight Shane Mosley. I am going to guess no that the Pacquaio fight is ever going to happen. Hope I am wrong.  

The second option is to fight Sergio Martinez @154. There of course can be a case made that Martinez is not a big enough name for Floyd, but I have a funny feeling this fight would sell and that Mayweather would take it.

Last but not least is the route I think Floyd will go. Miguel Cotto is fighting Yuri Foreman. If Cotto wins and can win impressively then I think Floyd will fight Cotto. Yes there is the problem of Arum being Cotto's promoter, but this fight ticks all the boxes for Floyd. It will sell, its potentially for a title @154 and realistically Cotto can't win.

Paul Williams like Chad Dawson can't sell sh! t. This is why guys like Hopkins, Calzaghe, Pacman or Mayweather will not fight them. Why fight a potentially dangerous opponent and get little money to do so. Paul Williams needs to target Berto or Mosley. If he can win those type of fights then his star can improve and then who knows..

I agree with the first two choices although I disagree with the weight for Martinez.....I told you in one of your previous post "I think FM can steal a belt @ 160LBS" and I think it will be Martinez as the victim....... FM would probably revert back to his old style of boxing with a slight mixture of the stand and fight (just to show Martinez who is faster)

Cotto (is a surprise) and FM and Arum presents other problems.  Cotto would want the fight but what happens when FM requests "Random Blood Testing".  Can Cotto say yes to this fight knowing that a yes means "Blood Testing" and thus a slap in the face of Manny and Arum. I know that Arum and Cotto have been at odds but this fight and subsequent loss to FM has the potential to be a career ender for Cotto. It would be a huge payday but do the ends justify the means for Cotto?????

You need to have a following all around East Coast West Coast ... North South.. you name it.. sadly Paul Williams doesn't have that.

I personally would like to see Floyd fight Timothy Bradley but he's another guy great fighter.. and getting better but doesn't have a massive following to generate a Mega PPV event.

                                           

I don't think Floyd would want bradley either. Bradley one of them non stop unintimated punchers. Even though he don't have alot of power he leads with his head. He would bust floyd up that way. Bradley like you say is getting better and has a hugh heart.

 I don't think so either. Cotto cuts if you look at him wrong. He does have a hugh fan base though. Floyd would take the easy pay day if he could get it. Cotto probally jump on it for the money but would get a boxing lesson for sure. Cotto finished.

he should have stopped mosley and didn't. He just plays it safe all the time. I doubt he would stop Bradley. He wouldn't take the risk even though bradley don't have any real power.

Mayweather has Pac-Man and thats it.

Cotto - but it would have the same type of ending with his fight with Pacquiao with Mayweather being way to fast and making him a bloody mess. Money wise it makes the most sense, but to me its a lopsided fight

Williams - is kind of interesting because of his height and has a little pop to his punch, but he just doesn't have the following to warrant Mayweather to take the risk. After Pac-Man this is the only Mayweather fight that could cause him any problem 160 and under.

Bradley = No chance

168lbs - Im Interested

There are other decent fighters, but right now nobody can touch Pretty Boy. Hands down in my 20+ years of watching boxing Mayweather is the best, but thats just from the late 80's to now.
