Let it go. Also, I agree with a Gamboa selection at + or even money.

Marquez didn't lose because of his shoulder. He lost because he doesn't have the movement or speed needed to pot shot counter Lopez for 12 rounds. Gambo will have the speed and power to make Lopez pay for his sloppy defense after misses and backing out soft with his hands down.

Then again, Gamboa has been chin checked more often than I would like for someone that will have to eat a few from Lopez. He is even greener too. Would he get caught up in the moment as Lopez did when he got buzzed by Marquez? Either way, it's one of the best fights that can be made in boxing.

Agree with you Jersey about Weeks. Also should Lopez should have gotten more points deducted after that. He had been warned, pts deducted the next step is to keep deducting points not go back to warnings

What I saw was Lopez adapt and Marquez quit after taking a boatload of punches in the last 2 or so rounds. Lopez was barely missing. Also, was Rafa's right hand really doing anything of value?

Vitali was ahead on the cards against Byrd and said crying about his should too. Truth be told is Byrd was getting to him and Vitali was going to get stopped.

I'm a huge fan of Gamboa but I'm on Lopez again in that match-up. Gamboa is a super talent but still raw green. Flits around with no game plan, or just doesn't stick to it. If I was Gamboa I would sharpen my edges and make the fight. I'd like to see this fight in 2 years minimum, he's only been pro 3 years.

For Lopez I would say, tune-up fight next...then Caballero. Lopez' last four opponents have been top guys. He's only been a pro for 5 years and proved a lot in that time. Now I just think he needs to work on hone what he's got for a bit.
