because vegas knows chavez will win, and they want some money to come in a manfredo,their are always dumb people that waste their money on long shots a pray for the best. manfredo is nothing, garbage, a CONTENDER media creation, he will get koed with body shots in the later rounds,  chavez is  a media creation as well and if not for his father he would probly be pumping gas somewhere, I see guys in the gym all the time that would pound the piss out of chavez, they simply do not have the connections. sometimes it&#x27;s about who you know(or in his case who your father is) that is even more important than you skill and talent.  It&#x27;s bullshit, but it&#x27;s the truth.

&#xD;&#xA;manfredo talking retirement. i have a rule of never betting on a fighter who even mentions the word before a fight.&#xD;&#xA;also, one good crack by jr. and manfredos meth teeth might all fall off.

1 - They are considering retirement: Many reasons. Like so many other sports you mental and physical condition change like everything else going from bad to good and back. The only problem is that they won't get any younger. The 2 biggest factors are they need (or want more) money and for many fighters it is all they know and it's hard to hang it up.
2- They are not considering retirement: For the most part, it has been done when a fighter wants a break, and knows he will get a larger payday coming out of retirement (promotional stunt - via Floyd). Also, if he has been very dominant it helps sells tickets as people may believe he has ring rust.

Keep your money in your pocket, homie.  Easy fight for Chavez.  Manfredo is shot.  And even if the fight is remotely close JCC will win on the scorecards in a rout.  Manfredo isnt knocking him out.
