Firstly I can't see how Manny can Lose this fight 99/100 times. I think Clottley is tailor made for him. Clottley will keep coming forward and Pacman will use his speed to pick the guy off at will. The Visa issue with his coach is a mess and his training camp has not looked impressive to me on what I have seen. He doesn't look like a guy who believes he can beat Pacquaio. The Odds makers agree and getting involved in the Manny SU win has absolutely no value.
I will be playing 2 plays. 1) The over 9.5 @ -175ish and 2) Manny on points @ + 175ish. While I expect Clottley to take a serious beating, I think Manny will have to be at his very best to KO this guy. The man is from one of the hardest parts in Africa and I don't think I have ever seen him in serious trouble. He had No problems handling Cotto's power (flash knockdown aside) and only Clottley and his team know how he lost that fight. He went to sleep (for reasons I still don't uderstand) in rounds 6, 11 and 12 and this cost him the fight.
I see a similiar outcome to the Pacman v Cotto fight. The over hits and maybe Manny gets the very late stoppage. I wouldn't discourage anyone from playing the Manny victory between rounds 10-12 at +400.
Am I confident in these picks? Not overly no. In truth if Clottley isn't phased by the whole occasion then the over will hit. He is teak tough. However considering the training camp problems, the fact he is fighting in a stadium he was clearly taken aback and in awe of by when he first saw it, means he could literally freeze on the big occasion. Such an occurance would not shock me at all and Pacman could conceivably end up having an easy nights work ala Hatton.
Also, sooner or later Clottley or someone of his stature will beat a pound for pound champ. Clottley is huge at the weight so if Manny has under-estimated him a shock KO is not totally out of the question..
Still, I have to play the board here and thats what I am going to do, so....
My plays are:
4* Over 9.5 @ -175
2* Manny Pacquaio to win on Points @ +175
Good Luck all no matter what your plays are

This will be the first time in a long time Manny actually will have to work, historically no one looks good against guys like Clottey cause of his defensive style. I'd say the over if anything is most for sure bet in this match. gl

Good read Mack, but as you said Clottey will keep coming forward & Cotto did have that flash knockdown .. can't you see Manny stunning him more than once with a quick knowdown and than pouncing to the point where we could get a stoppage.. I mean the Freddie/Manny combo is genious, they're not gonna miss an opening and i think Clottey will give him several of them

Odds on the over have been dropping. It's -133 right now. Just a heads up, I think that is risky. We all know Pac-Man can drop someone earlier than expected.

Does one think Pac-man wins easily but Clottey lasts?
If so this is a great Prop-
+200
Think Pacman will KO him easily?
-125
Now we know Clottey is NOT winning a decision in this fight, he will either KO Pac-man or Get KO'd or lose a lopsided decision.
That being said if you are backing Clottey .. this seems like the best prop.
+1124
I cannot see anyone laying 7or 8 to 1 odds versus a guy who is better than Cotto and the odds on Cotto who was dead meat entering the fight .. was much less.
If this fight was LEGIT (steroid blood testing) I would be on Clottey.. but since Clottey is showing up for a huge pay check he's got nothing to lose, no matter how bad he does.. wouldn't make a difference.. FREE MONEY for CLOTTEY.
So for for people who like the KO Barry Bonds -125 seems like a good play (If you like him by KO).
Again good luck to everyone whichever side you choose.Let's hope we at least get a good fight!

I think Clottey may have the better chance of a knockdown/knockout. Just my opinion but I think people are going to be surprised how tough Joshua Clottey is tonight.

I still dont think that. He chickened out last night- thats the simple way to put it. He never let go, im pissed because it really was a boring event. Pac hit Clottey about 7 x per minute , and nothing really with a huge impact. Clottey just flat out didnt want to take a chance and just played Winky all night. Its either Money or Mosley that gets Pac next. Really want to see him fight Money ,but im hoping for a Mosley by KO on 5/1.
