Floyd Mayweather Racist Rant: Nail in Coffin for Manny Pacquiao Fight?
Video
Nulty and the pro Mayweather camp. If you cant see the truth staring at you in the face here with Floyd then I give up. This fight is now officially dead..My god If a famous white man said the below remarks all hell would broke loose! Same crap with Hopkins and Calzaghe. Could you imagine if Calzaghe said I would never let a Black man beat me -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NtB0gD6O_Ak ..Yet when Hopkins says it, nowhere near the same drama and conterversy. Racism is wrong in any shape or form. Floyd has gone WAY to far here! It's clear Pacman is in his head. Its disgraceful in truth......
"Pretty soon, pretty much every boxing fan - casual and hardcore alike - will know all about the latest “stunt” pulled by self-proclaimed greatest fighter in boxing history Floyd “Money” Mayweather. All over the internet, are reports, opinions and general outbursts of indignation at the ten-minute video the 33-year-old megastar has released via Usstream (the video is also by now up on You Tube).
In the short video, which looks to have been shot, in poor quality (both picture and audio), in one or more of the many rooms in “Money’s” spacious Las Vegas home, the self-proclaimed pound-for-pound king attacks real pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao with verbal taunts and threats that simply have to be heard to be believed.
Not only does Mayweather - who must have given up forever with any attempts at being a nice guy - use abusive language and profanity, he also uses racist filth and homophobic filth to get his message across. Also boasting about how much more money he makes per-fight than Pac-Man, Mayweather comes across as a complete jerk. Sure, he’s come across as a buffoon before, but never in such grandiose, all consuming fashion! But for the fact that Floyd doesn’t drink (at least not to the point of getting drunk and intoxicated), I’d swear this was the case in the video - a video that, despite it’s offensive qualities, is sure to be seen by many thousands of people.
Some examples of what Mayweather says on camera whilst being surrounded and encouraged by a few of his “team” now follow:
James Slater: “As soon as I come off vacation [fight again], we going to cook that little yellow chump. You ain’t gotta worry about me fighting no midget! Y’all better jump on my bandwagon right now, ‘cos once I kick the midget’s ass I’ll let you all jump on my dick. ‘Cos once I kick the midget’s ass, I’m gonna make him cook me a sushi roll and some rice. You know how it is, we gonna cook that mutherfuker with some cats and dogs.”
Floyd goes on to refer to Manny as “Poochi” and he questions Pac-Man’s fear of needles, asking why he gets “a new tattoo after each fight” if he’s scared of needles. Mayweather states he will fight Pacquiao, and that it will be a “cakewalk” for him when he does so.
All in all, a stunning, not to mention crass attack by the man who says he wants to “clean up the sport.” This piece of garbage, that is now the world’s to see, will do nothing but add further dirt to the image of the sport of boxing. There’s no doubt, Mayweather has gone way over the line, and could he even find himself in some kind of trouble for being so racist?
One thing the video proves to me, is the fact that Mayweather is afraid of Pac-Man, at least a little, and that he has let the calm assurance of the Filipino legend get firmly under his skin. There is no question Floyd has at the very least made the fight with Pacquiao an excruciatingly hard one to make - while others still say he is flat out ducking Pac-Man. Why, if he sees nothing but a cakewalk? One that would net him somewhere in the region of $30 to $40 million dollars at that!
I think Floyd Mayweather, due to whatever urge it was that made him make this video, has lost himself a whole bunch of fans. Sure, a degree of trash-talking is okay, but the greats never went as far as Floyd just has. And more than anything else, Mayweather wants to be known as great. He isn’t, at least he isn’t outside the ring! "

I have said it since November last year on thios forum. MAYWEATHER NEVER WANTED THE FIGHT. The Ped's thing was a pile of rubbish. Tonight was the final nail in the coffin of a fight that bwas never destines to happen.
Pacman should be thrilled. I don't think he can beat Mayweather and he is rich enough. He will be remembered in history. Floyd's legacy will be greatly tarnished and rightly so. He is so gifted, but he has and never will have Manny's heart and its a boxers heart that makes him a hero. Floyd will never be a hero, except in his own mind..

I agree completely. It's obvious Mayweather was purposely going over the top with his remarks. But he was doing it to be funny. In America we call that "acting a fool".
I personally was slightly entertained. I didn't think any of it was funny or clever but I'm just wondering what Pacman is feeling.
Floyd might have just lost all of his endorsements but you can't deny that this doesn't build up hype. Floyd is doing what he has to in order to make up for his boring style inside the ring. People might not like Floyd but I bet they'll pay to see him lose. But as long as they pay right?

I have never claimed to be a fan of Mayweather's attitude, check the posts.
What I do know is Pacquiao and his crew are a bunch of liars. As of 2-3 days ago, Manny & Roach are now officially claiming that he agreed to random ost [all the way up] during the last round of failed of negotiations. My question is, why is this surfacing now? Why not say it the day or a week after the deadline, hell why not say it before the deadline since B-Rex said they agreed to a 14-day cut-off non-stop before the deadline. Arum and Co. made it perfectly clear that they only "agreed" to a 14-day window. Pacquiao will be remembered as a guy who manipulated the system, caught in lie's regarding testing, a man of manny excuses. There is a lot of shit on Pacquiao too. Nights in brothels, alleged illegitimate children, Jinky hot pissed he's cheating, etc. But he's a man of god and can do nothing wrong.
Pac's dad did eat his dog and it did happen, that is the truth. Some may view it as racist and some that know Pacquiao's history might see it as a dig that his dad ate his dog.
Lets take a look at history in boxing. How about when Ali was calling his brothers uncle toms? How about when Ali called Joe Louis, the man that opened the door for african-americans in boxing, an uncle tom? Then off to openly cheating on his wife, parading hoe's around. Great way to conduct oneself when representing a culture in a time of heated racial tension. Race-card your own peeps and openly cheating on your wife, way to go! Oo wait, Ali is like a saint right? Was Ali's legacy tarnished? Nope...

This from Eastside boxing (Vivek Wallace). I agree 100% eith everything he has outlined below..Rich this is WAY beyond tasteless. Its racial ignorant at it's worst. I have lost all respect for Mayweather as a boxer and as a person.
Lerron C. (Orlando, FL): I've seen Floyd Mayweather jr. do some wild things in the past, but I never expected the type of stuff he did and said recently. What are your thoughts about this incident?
Vivek W (ESB): For starters, there is no logical excuse for what Mayweather did. I've seen some low things in the sport. This was absolutely the lowest of them all, and after watching it twice to make sure I heard what I thought I heard, I walked away telling myself that Pacquiao now has an official reason to request a drug test from Floyd as well, as he clearly came off as someone who was a bit stoned to say the least! What bothered me most is that I've been ridiculed and called a slew of racial names by a small contingent of Filipino fight fans who felt a need to note (and degrade) my Afro-Cuban roots and the dark skin we possess. I never found it amusing, although I didn't lose sleep either, all based on the fact that I realize there's a certain percentage of ignorant people out there who need to add to their incomplete selves by trying to subtract from others. But those were fans. As the athlete himself, Mayweather has to know that this is completely a no-no.
Obviously he enjoys making money. I'd think that somewhere in that process he'd want to build endorsements, not kill them. It was a horrendous move. Now.........that being said, I think there were two main reasons for this pathetic display. No one is talking about it, but just a week or two ago, Mayweather spoke of a potential fight by the end of the year in Dubai, possibly. I don't know about the Dubai stuff, but I continue to hear small rumblings about a potential showdown with an unspecified opponent somewhere between December and January, providing a good 6months to rest in preparation for what could be a summer blockbuster with you-know-who! Although we haven't heard an opponents name yet, this was clearly a P.R. move to snatch the spotlight back from Pacquiao who had moved on and was in the process of launching his own promotion.
That was reason #1. Now......secondly.....I must confess: I have ZERO idea what it takes to promote a fight that would net someone $60M+. Mike Tyson did some atrocious things, yet he had no idea how to promote a fight that would net him $60M+. Muhammad Ali did some outlandish things.....and despite being the best talker in the history of the sport, he had no idea how to promote himself to such a huge gain. And you know what? Apparently, neither do any of you reading this! Bottom line, I don't agree with anything Mayweather did or said, but he's is the owner of the largest single-fight purses in the history of the sport. I'm sure it's not easy to outdo some of the garbage he's done outside the ring in the past, but if this is what it takes to make sure he adds to that recently reported $60M+ evening against Shane Mosley, then God bless him! I just hope that somewhere in the process of earning all those dollars he also earns a little more sense! Right now he's pretty wealthy in the pocket, but seemingly poor in the mind!

Ban from boxing?
LOWEST OF ALL THINGS SEEN IN THE SPORT??
Let's not forget Edwin Valero killing his girlfirend, Gatti beating the shit out of his wife, or Paul Spadafora shooting his girlfriend. Add on numerous assaults, dui's, etc and you have a typical boxing police blotter. So to say that if a white man said this he would be banned is insane. All three of those guys are some version of "white."
Were some of the comments dumb? Of course. However, imo, he didn't even say anything worse than Hopkin's "I'll never let a cracker beat me."
