This fight may force the best outta FMayJr. I can see RH possibly getting a few rounds, only to open up via FMayJr. accurate punches. This also reminds me of how I'm kinda thinking KellyPal brings out the best in JT.

Yeah I saw this a couple days ago and it surprised the shit out of me also.
I saw it at:

Sat 12/8 101 Floyd Mayweather Jr -310
10:00PM (EST) 102 Ricky Hatton +230

I'm with you though I was expecting -220 or less.Maybe the books are just praying everyone gets baited into this bad line. I tell you what ,I will be on Hatton at those odds or nothing .No way I'm laying -300+ on this fight.I think the over is very safe in this one but heck it might come out at -550 or higher

Not trying to be a d*ck here, but if I were you, I’d stay away from this fight.  Very good chance you go 0-3 on your predictions.  I told you that in the original thread.

Not trying to be a d*ck, but if I were you I'd stay away from this fight.  Very good chance you go 0-3 on your predictions.  I told you that in the original thread.

Anyone think it's a good idea to scalp this one. Play Hatton at whatever odds he is now, and wait for the Brits to show up to Vegas, and play Mayweather's side?

What the fight opens at and where I get it are two completely different things.  By time I get it, it will be about +150 (assuming a 30-cent line) and I cash that ticket.
 
Yes, I was wrong and the fight was made.  That was the first time I have ever been wrong in my 20+ years of gambling.

I mention that you were wrong not to rub your face in it, but to show you that you don’t have a very good feel for this fight.  Do what you want.  Was only trying to save you some money.

Different class of fighters. Fly'd accurate punches are going to shred Hatton up. Floyd will beat that ass.

Just found these odds:

Floyd Mayweather -250

Ricky Hatton +175

Now this looks a little more realistic

People are really overlooking the style of Hatton here.  A physical fighter who comes all night long, charging and grappling really wears out a guy like Floyd who is used to potshotting guys and dancing around.  Floyd had NO answer for DLH when he got inside.  He just covered up and weathered the storm.
 
D. Diaz just did the same thing to Morales.  Yes, Morales was a much more skilled figher and was able to land the prettier shots.  However, he gassed in a big way and got killed in close.  I think this fight is similar in styles and Hatton, at these odds, is the play whether or not he pulls it off.  This will be Floyd's toughest challenge to date, IMO.
