Mayweather v Pacman will NEVER happen

Maybe it will, maybe it won't.  But if there's any factor that could lead it to actually taking place, it's the money.  They would both be fools to pass up the largest payday of their careers. 

money talks and bullshit walks, win or lose they both walk of in to the sunset and if its close they can do it agian.

why has the cotto pacquiao fight started already? why say never when negotiations and the cotto fight has not started...

mayweather has said, if pacman ppv receipts this saturday surpassed the marquez fight then he will think about a deal with pacman on a 50/50 share... and they may work things out on other income like ppv and ads.

he already went to 147 145 etc so why not fight floyd at 147? its not as if pacman challenges smaller opponents like him.

Bullshit. Pacquiao allowed Cotto to reach 145, even 147 max (Cotto just needs to pay a million extra for each pound beyond 145 and not more than 147)

What Im seeing here is Mayweather is just like his dad, all talk. (saw the Hatton-Pacquiao fight? seems like Mayweather senior talked a lot longer than Hatton stood in the ring.)

Although It's money matters+pride that keeps this fight going. If Pacman wants to make this happen he should do this as early as possible. He's not getting any younger.

OK. Don't know much on this topic but I have read enough to know this is going to be the biggest payday of pacman's career when he fights Mayweather and that guy loves and needs the cash at his burn rate. He'll fight him at any weight in my opinion.

I Stand by this.........IF it does then I will UNLOAD of Floyd. Styles makes fights and FMM is perfect for Manny. The last fighter Manny had problems with was Marquez. FMM is a bigger better Marquez...

mac i hope it does happen, and i said i would give it up manny is a machine, i cant believe he walked thru every shot cotto thru, floyd is the best counter puncher of all times, and the 2nd best defensive fighter of all times only behind hopkins, manny is a machine as we seen tonight and if their is a fighter who could force floyd to fight its manny, but still might not happen, floyd is a whole nother animal i know but if theirs a chance that a man could force him to fight its manny, i dont know what would happen but i sure as hell want to find out, i couldnt put my money on manny, but i dont think i could put it on floyd either after what i seen tonight, mac you know your shit thats for sure and i knew that already but im the first to admit i didnt think manny would walk thru cottos shots like he did, and i didnt think he could hurt and batter cotto like he did, the only fight for both fighters is each other, but im with you it might not happen because floyd is to stubborn and he wants it like he wants it and thats the only reason im not a big fan, i respect the hell out of the man, but i wish he would bend sometimes to for the sport, but then sometimes i think hell if i was him would i, i get mad sometimes because he wont let his gloves go at times but hell he doesnt have to and then i think would i if i didnt have to and could still win in the fashion he does, no matter what they are both animals in different ways and i just really want to see what would happen, and if it would end up being a great fight we could maybe get a trilogy out of it, lololo probably just wishful thinking.

I just think FMM does not have pacmans heart and will sign up in a month for a fight a guy that cant beat him and that no one wants to see...

I guess its all up to FMM. If he really thinks he is more marketable than MP is right now then he can just stay at home. The ppv fight for MP MC is higher than what JMM FMM brought. So we are not talking about the past in which FMM is the ppv boss, we are talking about NOW and the truth is MP is ppv boss. 50/50 is a bargain for FMM he just uses his ego as an excuse for his first loss.

I sure as hell don't think he wants to either. Then again, what does he need? Money. What does he like more than anything? Money. What would be the biggest fight (in terms of money) in the history of boxing?

Mack is right, the liklihood of this fight going off is slim.  Mayweather has a beef with Arum and he'll demand the lionshare of the purse.  And Arum won't have anything but 50/50 to start.  What they should do is give Floyd his guarenteed 60/40 of the PPV, and maybe give Pacman 60/40 of the live-gate.  Something like that where Floyd will have to belive he's getting the best of it.  I don't know, it's just a thought. 

There is too much Money to be made here and everyone involve will get fatter. This fight will happen it just a matter of time. Lets just hope it happen early next year.
