I thought Maidana barely edged out the fight but Morales surprised me. Even in his prime he couldn't shoulder roll the way he did tonight. That shit simply isn't taught in Mexico so I'm sure he picked it up himself with nonstop sparring.

He already had my respect and props, but WOW! I didn't expect that performance. The guy is a warrior!! I would've been OK with a draw, but agree that Maidana edged it out!!

Morales still has the heart of a great fighter with secondary skills, I think he edged this one out. Another classic war for his resume. Regardless of Erik Morales' fight record, I can honestly and safely say that we fans have won more in terms of fight satisfaction and thrills under Erik Morales than just about any other fighter out there. Most of the time when I buy these PPV fights I feel afterwards like I paid for a bad hooker, when I watch Morales' fight I feel like I'm getting a free show no matter how much I paid.
