Today ill like to share of what i think about todays card..
Golota VS The Big "Fat" Irish
this
is a complete missmatch Golota seems as he is in shape and ready to
prove that he deserves one more shot. I dont know if u guys heard -
Golota was sepose to be the sub for Mask...against Peter in todays
fight.. Showtime said OK, Garden said OK, King said OK but the fighting
commision didint want to do it.. Why.. because Golota is not in TOP 10
of any of the rankings and thats why hes not able to fight for a
title. He will be ready for this fight but i cant say the same
about McBride who is at his heaviest ever.. Hes also a big drunk.. I
hear that 2 weeks ago we was drunk beyond control.
Golota should have 0 problem.. unless he loses in a 1st round TKO due to his weird 1st rounds..
Golota -400 3660$-to win --915$
Sam Peter- Vs - McCline
How
do you expect a fighter that found out 2 weeks ago that hes about to
fight for the title to win? No shot. Peter is a quality fighter.. No
shot McCline will win. I just hope that it does not go to distance.

Well, your boy sure trashed Troy Browning, no question about that. He gets a little square when he steps inside, but he can probably beat Ishe on workrate alone as long as his chin holds up.
Should be a good fight. I wouldn't load up too heavy on either side though.

I'm taking +120 on Wolak at matchbook. From what I keep reading he's got an aggressive, always moving forward approach, and Smith doesn't seem to have the power that I would think would scare him off. After seeing Margo this weekend, hard not to keep betting on that aggressive style with + money at the moment.
GL to your boy

Luke: Your familys into carpentry correct? I worked construction for my brother in law the past few summers and my bro-in-law subbed out work to this guy Will. All of Will's carpenters were Polish and I used to shoot the shit with them and drink with them here and there, cool guys! Now last summer I had my heart set on seeing my first boxing match live, I didn't care who fought as long as I can see 1 big name and had decent seats. So I get to shooting the shit with Will and he tells me that he used to gamble in AC a lot and gets amazing seats comped for all events (now I know he's not lying because he was a "connected" guy) (I also believe the fight was Gatti/Gomez and Gatti's one of my favorite fighters). So he's like listen call me after work (this is on a Fri.) and I'll link you up with my brother Tommy whose going to be in AC tommorow and you get the tickets from him! So the guy stiffs me and never picks up my calls or returns my messages. Monday I come into work and the supervisor (all the guys on the site loved me no person cause I was a clown) asks how the fight was I tell him Will didn't pick up my calls and the foreman of all the Polish contractors Bart is like why didn't you call me? Wolak (I believe it was him) was fighting on the undercard and we had a whole row to ourselves because my friend sponsors him. Basically I just wanted to see if your familys into carpentry and maybe you know Bartek and his crew? Shoot me an email my emails in my coverspace!

I'm already down for a little on Ishe. My question for you would be does Wolak have the pop to keep Smith from comfortbly scoring points with the counter punch? I know he's going to be coming forward, but I'm wondering if he'll do enough to keep Ishe from hitting him on the way in or the way out. Appreciate the scouting report.

Looks like some mixed feelings out there going into tonight. Hopefully Ishe finally realizes that he needs to throw more, if the Julio fight didn't show him this then nothing will.

Yeah tough fight for your man Wolak last night. He is just far less talented then Ishe and since Ishe decided to throw punches that was his downfall. Funny how the crowd was shocked by the scores.
Coweringbeef: Yeah he was applying pressure, but what was so gutsy about that performance?

I was actually kinda shocked by the scores, but I know what you're saying. I wouldn't have been half surprised to see either fighter scored 8-2 depending on what kind of judge you are, but to see two scored it 96-94 was kind of strange to me, I didn't think the fight was that close either way. They got it right though, Ishe was the winner by far in my book, but I know how some judges love to score the aggressor, which Wolak clearly was in almost every round.

I hope that came across correctly. . . I meant I guess I didn't think Wolak's performance or Ishe's was one round difference from a draw as two judges saw it.

If you've seen Wolak's previous fights, he is always pure aggression. Thats what I meant that he is known as gutsy.
I see what you are saying about aggressiveness. I just didn't see where in that fight he earned a reputation for having heart or being gutsy. Lots of fighters come forward and get beat to the punch.

I kind of see what you are saying, Wolak was the aggressor like you said, but he was being out-landed pretty heavily in terms of clean punches in every round. Those 96-94 cards were laced with home-cooking, luckily it wasn't close enough for them to steal it from Ishe.

I think you get what I'm trying to say. I suck at saying it.
