Guys,
Can't resist this double.
May 21st.....Nathan Cleverely (-200) to beat Jurgen Brahmer and James DeGale (-400) to beat George Groves..1000 to win 1875k (just to give you an idea on the return)..
1) Cleverely v Brahmer is going to be a close fight. Indeed if going on Amatuer pedigree then Brahmer should be made favourite. Also Cleverely's last performance is concerning. Still Brahmer has been out of the ring for alongtime. His inactivity, I believe will cost him in a very hostile atmosphere. Cleverely has the better footwork and better hands BUT Brahmer hits harder. I think Cleverely will be counter punching all night long. BUT Nathan is dumb at times, can get dragged into unnecessary wars and can leave his chin out there (that concerns me). He is not hard to be hit at times and while I think Clev could have some awkward moments in this fight, I think he will come out on top with a late stoppage or a UD. Brahmer has stamina problems and can be outboxed. He is a slow soutpaw and has that robotic European style. Cleverely is the better boxer and the better athelete. If he boxes on the outside he should win handy. There is always a danger against big hitters though and I don't fully have faith in Cleverelys ring intelligence and he can easily be dragged into a war and that's Brahmers only chance to win.
2) James DeGale v George Groves. I think this is a mismatch of EPIC proportions. I think James DeGale is the real deal and George Groves is vastly over rated. I think this is EASY for Degale. I don't see one thing groves has over DeGale (maybe punching power but that is debatable). DeGale one day will beat either Andre Ward or Lucian Bute. You heard it here first. -400 is absolute giftwrapped..
There have been alot of upsets lately and Cleverly doesn't exactly fill me with a huge amount of confidence. Still though I like the double alot. Good Luck..
