Cortez didnt make it clear for the fighters to box again, he wasnt even facing both fighters when the KO punch was landed,

and Ortiz was very cool about losing in such a controversial way, nice payday either way i guess

Also, I do believe that Ortiz was hurt in the 3rd round with a straight right that he punched his momentum into. One last thing. The ref is not to blame. The ref said "lets go" and motioned for them to fight again. After motioning he looks to the clock to make sure it is back on. At this time the dumb ass Ortiz wants to hug and kiss like Mosely with Pac. I bought the fight and we rewound this to see what really happened because at first we were in shock. I have never seen it before. Ortiz has to blame himself for what happened.

Ref is to blame. Why would you ask if the time is on after you said break and start the fight.

Wouldn't you signal time in. And then say break?

Ortiz didn't came to fight, he just loved the newfound wealth. Ortiz was not hurt cause Mayweather hasn't knocked anyone out except Ricky Hatton for a long long time. Fight woulda gone the distance.
