Pacquiao to fight Margarito Official

Manny Pacquiao will fight Antonio Margarito on Nov. 13 for a vacant super welterweight championship, either in Las Vegas if Margarito can get licensed or in Monterrey, Mexico, if he can’t, promoter Bob Arum said.

anyone want to anticipate what the line will be for this fight?

They kept showing this on the bottom line during FNF last night, but Dan Rafael in studio said this was NOT a done deal.  Yahoo was reporting it (according to the ticker), but he said that it's not official yet.

And I'd be shocked if Pacquiao fights in Mexico.  I'd say no chance to that.

I agree Danno no way he fights in Mexico.

They will fight in Dallas Stadium easy to get a license in Texas plus even though the Clottey fight was a bore the event made good money.

I would wait until after Floyd's Uncle knows his fate.I believe that's August 9th, if he's cleared they can still fight this November.

If not it's Margarito  as we've seen "Arum vs Arum" fighters more $$ for Arum.

Let's hope Roger Mayweather can get cleared so they can maybe discuss a deal, if not we're stuck with a -800 or higher main event again!

Its official. Top Rank stated it. Side note, I'd rather see a Cotto rematch at 154 then see this fight. Margacheato is wayyy to slow for Manny. I would be surprized if this fight went passed the 6th round.

Where is the fight taking place?  I'll believe it's official when Margarito has a license to fight in the US.  I'm not saying it won't happen, but there are still things that have to be done.

Pac will be -500.  Should be -1000.  He wont lose a round.  Too fast.  Will be a joke.

Agree with -500 maybe even higher.  I dunno about a shut-out as was the case with CLottey but Pac will land 500 +

I posted on the 24th this will be a -800 or higher fight.

If Margarito looks good at the weigh in  and has a good camp, I can see this fight going to to -750 or so.

They better have some amazing under card if they expect people to buy this PPV.

 I hear ya  nutty but I haven't seen a good undercard in 20 years. The Cotto rematch would have been way better at 154. Cotto got a way better following then the cheater.....

-750 would be a steal considering Tony has about 1% chance of winning this fight.

I love this card.  I'm super-excited for Saturday night.  I already started putting in action.  I got JMM to win in rds 7-12 at +296 on 5dimes yesterday.  It dropped to +260 today.  I'll be heavily invested in JMM by KO.
