The Filipino champion Manny Pacquiao will reportedly spend almost half of the $100 million that he is going to earn from the ‘Fight of the Century’ in charitable purposes. According to a statement given Pacquiao’s promoter Bob Arum, who owns the Top Rank Promotions, Pacquiao will give away half of the income from the 2nd May bout against Mayweather to the needy.

The revelation came from Bob Arum on Thursday while talking to an online news outlet Boxinginsider.com. Showing very high confidence over his statement, Bob Arum said that he is sure that Pacquiao will spend almost half of the income of the 2nd May bout on charitable purposes.

Interestingly, the bout is going to be the biggest fight of Pacquiao’s career and he is expected to take over $100 million from the bout. Pacquiao is known for his generosity and god-fearing nature. Soon after the Typhoon in the Philippines, Pacquiao stepped ahead and auctioned a pair of shorts which bagged around $40,000 dollars. He donated the entire amount to the victims of the catastrophe.
