One fact... the fight with Martinez would generate more expected viewers than Mayweather. The only problems is it was suggested at a catch-weight 150lbs. It has been a decade since Sergio was 150lbs... and too much at this time in his career. At 154lbs, would be more likely and Roach wouldn't take it. Sergio realizing it would be the biggest PPV fight in history could cause temptation as so much money would be involved for him.
Even though Manny has power, middle weight KO power is a hue step for Manny and to much, especially with a speed fighter. Although Roach feels Martinez's boxing skill can be exploited, Manny is not the technician to do so. Marquez was be better suited, and Floyd wouldn't take the fight at this time could easily expose Sergio, but won't bother.

for the record I have never use any wiki info, all my knowledge is from books, magazines, watching countless hours of film and of course being a fighter, as I found out long ago that it is not accurate, like what you posted about tapia&#x27;s father that you pasted from there. wiki has never been an accurate source for knowledge and not just with boxing but most things, a lot of their info on history is manipulated as well. wiki is a C class source of info or maybe B- at best.

I also stated prior to my post w/ Tapia that it was COPY. I know wiki is not total accurate. I also wrote this as an example to people about working together and as compliment.

Even wiki states people edit it constantly even though it may lack accuracy. They try to keep it factual (truth), but they are a nice resource to as almost every topic is covered by a single company, unlike any other.
I hear ya, I was mentioning that previous to Tapia as I knew some was inaccurate. Most of my info as well comes from previously knowledge. Rarely I use or quote any knowledge from books (on boxing), although I am an avid reader among many topics.
