Pavlik verus Lockett

Question

Well, since nobody else is going to start a topic about the Pavlik fight I guess I will.

Does Lockett have a shot????

Also, the prop bet of this fight going over 7 rounds....can it happen.

Lockett has a decent record unfortunately after reading it looks like all his fights were against inferior fighters.

You have to love the line on him though.
Pavlik wants to go out and dominant this fight from start to finish.
I do like Locketts trainers.

7 rounds is a long way to last for Lockett if he can't get Kelly's respect early, although the "Enzo factor" makes me think Lockett will be on his toes some. Taking the under on such short round props though rarely feels "right" to me. Any kind of "feeling out" rounds and my fingernails are gone.

If Lockett has the kind of heart his interviews suggest, the man might stay on his feet longer than everyone seems to think he will. This is his one and probably only shot at the big time. As much as I respect Pavlik's power, under 6.5 is a hard bet to make IMO.

This, for some starnge reason, has the makings of a "distance" affair.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;I say Over7.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;I say it goes distance with Pavlik getting decision.  Pavlik wants to dominate, but he won&#x27;t.  He gets hit too much.
