Wowzas, bad decision in my opinion.  I just saw the fightnews headline and thought it was a misprint.  I actually turned off the telecast after the final bell rang and turned my attention to the basketball game thinking it was a foregone conclusion especially being in St. Louis.  I thought Spinks won at least 7 rounds and thought he would get every benefit of the doubt based on location/promoter.  Bob Sheridan was way off as usual in scoring the fight, but I thought Spinks won.

In all seriousness, this is a horrible decision. 8-4 to Verno is ridiculous. At the same time, I could care less about Spinks. Plus I had the over...

Verno's a stand up guy, so I'm glad he'll pick up another payday. I'm torn between the utterly delicious irony (how unpopular do you have to be to get jobbed in your home town?), and the need to protect the integrity over the sport.

At this moment, the former is winning.

Where I had it, when I lost it, 6-6 was about the least I could foresee. But I'll try to watch the end tomorrow. If DK the GOP himself will allow.

 I did the same thing. If Verno could punch he woulda knocked Stinks into the 3rd row
