2007 Results: +42.25 units (+$4,225) Last two weekends played: -1.55 units (-$155) 2008 to Date: -16.04 units (-$1,604)
Been out of touch for a week or so, had a wedding attend last weekend, but there was no action for me as my Abraham-Marquez under bets were pushed back anyway. Looks like I locked in on Brittaly at the right time with my future, boy those odds have skyrocketed.
1.45 units on Klitschko (-145) vs Peter 2 units on under 9.5 rounds (+105) in Peter-Klitschko .50 of a unit to win 4.9 Mosley ITD (-138) Berto (-900) Abraham-Marquez under 8.5 (+115) Klitschko (-145) vs Peter Calzaghe (-320) vs Jones Taylor (-550) vs Lacy
1 unit on Tarver ITD (+400) .15 of a unit on Tarver by KO round 9 +3600 .15 of a unit on Tarver by KO round 10 +3500 .15 of a unit on Tarver by KO round 11 +4000 It seems most of the boxing community thinks that it will be an easy time for Dawson tonight, I'm just not buying it. His chin/stamina has been sub par against the likes of Harding/Adamek/Johnson and I think Tarver has the most pop that he has ever faced.
Off to the golf course, hopefully a couple of afternoon winners greet me when I get home.

Far too large is a good thing now. Reads like it was very similar to the Danny Williams-Klitschko fight minus the knockdowns. Looking forward to watching the beatdown tonight knowing my money has been made.

ended up hedging slightly with peter itd and a couple big favorites in a parlay, but lucky with a couple other fights that kept some parlays together, and klitschko made the day.

Yeah awesome stuff, I saw the final tally. Big weekend for you. I never gave you your proper welcome to the forum, good to have you. I like pulling up your threads, you never know what you are going to get it's like a frantic boxing bettor on meth with all the plays that you make, winning is winning no matter how you get there.

Good luck - LOVE the Tarver pick. Will have a blurb posted soon....
Glad to have you on my side. We will see, I just took out some more on Tarver ITD. Maybe I'm not putting enough stock in Tarver being far gone. I don't think Dawson has the type of a chin that holds up very well to adversity and I think Tarver will have him wobbling at some point tonight. Not a popular pick with the boxing masses, but Tarver has always been a hated fighter and that may have something to do with it. I think if Tarver wins it will definitely be before the final bell so that's why I'm putting all of my eggs in this basket.
.50 of a unit on Tarver ITD (+473) .15 of a unit on the DRAW (+3000)in Tarver-Dawson Just saying......

A couple of observations from the Klitschko fight after seeing it. That was the most sustained one sided losing non-effort by a "champion" against a challenger that I have seen in a long time. Peter let Vitali do whatever he pleased, never got inside, and threw maybe 10-15 punches a round. It was like he was a human zombie that was a walking punching bag. Of course I back Vitali along with the under,r but I never envisioned it that easy. He basically won every second of every round in the same way that Calzaghe did over Lacy except in different fashion obviously. Interesting to hear Klitschko not want to comment on his future of continuing to fight. I would love to see him hammer down the giant redwood Valuev, why not make that fight? The brothers Klitschko would then have two belts a piece and in a way unify the division (same name counts right?). Plus, it would make a ton of money in Europe and a fat licensing fee from HBO.

Oh and how did Hongtongkam give a round to Sam? What a rediculous non-factor scorecard.

As I said in the other thread, great performance by Dawson. A complete fight; speed, combinations, body work, and good stamina/chin which I thought coming in was his biggest flaw and may be shown to be weak. Tarver landed some flush, but Dawson shook them all off. Congrats Dawson backers, based on the fight even 3-1 was a good lay. I was off here.
1 unit with a c-note won for the weekend and a parlay that keeps life.

Great call on Klitschko.....I was too apprehensive to bet on him with the 4-year layoff, but he erased all doubts. I thought he looked about as good as I've ever seen him......physically/body-wise he looks really good too despite the layoff and his age.
Vitali might be the best heavyweight based on this performance. Would it be crazy to ask for a Vitali/Lennox Lewis rematch after all these years?

Nice play on Vitali Fullbrights. Never a doubt there.
I would have been on Tarver too had I not been MIA this weekend visiting some friends. The crazy thing is, that is the best I have seen the magic man look in years. He actually showed heart coming back in that 12th. Dawson looked scary good.
