Nice pts.handicap play Fulbright's. I'm beyond all over the place already on this one. Might as well ad to that. 'nother .27 on the pts.handicap w/ Khan & Felix. (also have Saul ITD for the same, Yuri Decision for 1, and Yuri SU for 1, same to chasers in the 3 team parlay). Wish I'da known the books were gonna offer this much for a little ole Vs. Network card.
Though I am dubious if Roman could catch a Decision in Crooklan.

I like that play on words, never heard that before. Good luck.

A few more plays for the weekend.....
.50 of a unit on under 9.5 (+190) in Romanov-Thaxton I think there styles will really make for an exciting fight today from the UK. Thaxton looked a bit shaky against the non-puncher Stewart and Romanov can punch a bit. Plus, Romanov has been down before and Thaxton has started to sit down a bit more on his punches in recent years. I really think this is going to be a fun one to watch.
.30 of a unit on Whitaker ITD (+435) vs Estrada Wow, 239 pounds for Whitaker? That's a career low and definitely not the 260 lb we have seen in recent years. Whitaker has to know this is do or die for him and that a KO is what he must have tonight to win. I haven't seen Estrada since the Walker fight and I thought he looked like crap in that one. Estrada really hasn't faced a real heavyweight puncher.
1.15 units on Jimenez (+180) 1.15 units on Jimenez +5.5 points handicap (-115) .20 on DRAW (+2000) in Jimenez-Chavez Chavez has fought once since the tragic Levander fight and that lasted all of three rounds when he busted his knee. That's 3 rounds in two and a half years. One thing that really exposes ring rust is a fighter being busy and pressuring, two things that Jimenez can do. I have been a victim of playing against Jimenez as a dog when he upset Escobedo, but I have also been on the other side when I took Martinez against him when he was a fave. Watching that fight on streamtv Jimenez really gave out late in that Martinez fight and Martinez just seemed to have more in the tank. That being said I think the 10 round distance here is a good thing along with the climb up in weight; I think Jimenez wins the early half of the fight 4-1ish and grabs a couple of rounds down the stretch to put this away. Small play on the draw here also with the 10 round distance and the expectation that if Chavez still has a good bit left it will still be very very close.
.30 of a unit on Beltran (+500) vs Molitor Not a hand picked guy by the house, rather a mandatory. I have seen the Beltran-Guzman fight and I thought he did pretty well against Guzman who was just as quick and more powerful when he was at 122; I know I gave Beltran 4 rounds. Molitor is classy and darn quick, but I wouldn't put him at the level of Guzman. Even in Molitor's wins as a titleholder there have been shaky moments and he still hasn't really fought anyone. I think Beltran is live here.
Parlay These long odd types were good to me in 07, not so much this year. .50 of a unit to win 2.35 Matthews (-400) Khan ITD (-495) Calderon-Dieppa over 10.5 (-355) Margarito (-290) Sylvester (+120)

Finally, an under comes through! Didn't get to see it, had to follow it round by round, but it sounds like Romanov looked like a world class fighter and dominated from the bell.

on the under.
I didn't see the fight either. Like you said, reading at ESB it looks as if Romanov gave him a pretty one-sided beatdown.
Let's reel in Jimenez.

Just got home and caught the last two rounds of the Whitaker-Estrada fight, looked like Whitaker had pretty much gassed. I wonder if he was on roids with that physique. Did he ever land anything meaningful?
Did anyone catch the Jimenez fight and if so how did you have it? I cruised over to max and someone posted that they had Jimenez winning; they seemed pretty angry, but they had bet on Jimenez. Very surprised at the UD verdict, I really thought if Chavez won that it would very close and of the split variety.

DJ did win that fight! The scores were reversed, I had DJ winning 7-3, but could not see anyway worse then 6-4 DL.

Well, I guess I'm glad that I wasn't able to watch it then. That sucks, decisions haven't been my friend this year. My major reasoning for my plays was that Jimenez would carry the early rounds putting himself in a great position for the later rounds, even before he hurt his leg against Diaz Chavez's rust was very evident early.

Was out and didn't get to see it either, but I've read some people say that Chavez scored alot in the fight and deserved to win. I'd like to see it for myself. Good luck today.

Trust me, that is far from accurate. Chavez forced the action by walking foward but DJ countered him all night long. DJ could not miss with his counter or lead right hand.
