Had one future wager pending for this weekend which I am kicking myself for taking an early line on....
1.15 units on Huck (-115) vs Tokarev
Also now have....
Wednesday Night Fights .25 of a unit on Hallback (+300) vs Holm (Cant believe I'm playing a beaver bout) .5 of a unit on Martinez (+275) vs Adams (Gotta fade old "Bones" here)
Friday Night Fights 2 units on under 4.5 rounds (-160) in Peterson-Ernesto Jose
German Action .60 of a unit on Huck (+145) vs Tokarev (A little more on Marco at better odds)

Good luck Brights! Can you give me an early opinion on the Hatton fight?
I still don't have a firm stance, but I am leaning to JLC now. I have not made a play yet on it. I posted this earlier in the week. What are your thoughts?
Hatton/JLC I leaned
toward Hatton when the fight was announced, but now I tend to be
leaning toward the near +150 price on JLC. Still not decided though.
I think the odds makers are looking at JLC's 1st fight at 140, his
close win over Herman N., but I don't think that fight is indicative of
his ability at this weight. I think he thought that fight was going to
be a breeze and didn't really take it seriously. Both guys are getting
good sparring in, I believe that Hatton's chief sparring partner is
Steve Forbes and JLC's is A. "Terra" Garcia.
I will tell you one
thing that worries me from a betting prospective as well as a fan's
prospective is the fight coming to a premature halt because of a bad
cut. Both guys have shown the tendency to cut in the past and with the
fight being fought at close range we could see some "Butt" action or
grazing hook that causes some damage. I think the giant Brit invasion
over to the states for the fight could help the odds for those looking
at betting JLC.

.25 of a unit on Hallback (+300) vs Holm (Cant believe I'm playing a beaver bout)
Pretty decent scrap for two chicks, Holm had too much hand speed for her. Funny to here that Hallback spars with Nate Campbell. Lost .25 of a unit on the night.
The rest of the week is meager at best, I have the Peterson under and Huck, but I may play a couple of more O/U's. I want to play Cunningham in Poland, but I see him getting screwed by another shady decision.
Anybody else on anything? Bigeiii you got anything? You've been MIA since Miranda was laid out by the Ghost. I tried to warn you a few times about being so strong on Pantera. What do you think about Cunningham against the Pole.

Good to see that James Toney at least came in 5 lbs lighter than the Peter fight at 229 lbs. for his off TV bout against Batchelder tomorrow. I was looking at betting the over if he came in between 240-250, but I will probably hold off now.

I hit both sides last nite; but I got home just in time to turn the TV on to see the 2 min. mark of 10 Ten of the lady bout. Kan't say I'm a fan of seeing that anyways; so no biggie that I pulled such a long day/nite. True EM did beat me on what ended up being 4 1 unit parlays. But the LOW, a fade on ITD, & a hege on KP ITD did win. Then I had the Preakness winner in that, & an NBA Prop. Best weekend I've had all year. Though I kan't detail why in a public fourm.
I suggest you determine the side of the Pole vs. Cunningham bout 1st Fullbrights. IF Cunningham wins; he should realized he D well may need a stoppage to do so. So a LOW+3oo does not look too bad if you side w/ Cunningham, otherwise; look to Decision or side up w/ K.Dub on his home turf.
In other action.........JT has dropped about 20 lbs. of lard! I took him, taking the Peterson bro's (though I'm less & less impressed w/ them), Kraus & Z in Jerry action, & I gotta type, I'm toying w/ the idea of a major upset in the Saturday Deutschland headliner, as I'm unsold how AA's (who I like) Jaw will do after being jacked by EM. The only thing is that Demers has no strict KO's, just TKO's, but he is the bigger guy here, & I hope he's smart enought to test AA's grill.

Nothing at a decent price that I like enough to bet individually; talk about a chalk filled board, so I am going to play a smallish parlay with a couple of plays that I like.
.75 of a unit to win 2.27 units Fight won't go Distance (-170) in Abraham-Demers Under 4.5 rounds (-230) in Povetkin-L'Heureux Wlodarczyk (-175) Karass (-800)

On a side note, Fat James Toney needs to hang them up. Even he has to realize now that there is not going to be a rise back to prominence. I hate it, because James is one of my favorite fighters, but it's time. For him to lose on any card to Danny Batchelder is embarrassing and Fightnews even said that he was stunned in the 9th.

Wow.
I liked Toney too. Him talking shit in third person was always worth a few laughs.
Was he leading on the cards and just got caught in a freak punch, or was he getting his ass whooped?

Toney didn't lose. He won a split decision, I was saying it is embarrassing that he even lost on one of the judges cards.
Batchelder is a bum. From what I have read it looked like a sparring session, Toney was still very blubbery at 229, and his feet looked like they were in concrete again.

JT won. I've seen the stills. JT is not exactly ab-blaster material, but he does look a bit better. Not quite the butter, lard & beer gut he's beein sporting for a while. & JT has forgotten mo' about Boxing than most Boxer can ever learn. But he's not only overWeight, he's Old, & he has the look & feel of some1 who is wearing out Physically for carrying too much weight for too long to me.
I threw the U.S.S. Cunningham in to win in a Parlay w/ the above, ditto the LOW on that fight.
Couple of interesting futures up: Paul.Dub, Tony Hanshaw, & the Wlad LOW; all pegged at what I consider to be attractive value based #'s.

Both Peterson bro's looked noticably improved for the first time in a while to me 2nite. Gotta give them cred for that. Lamont seemed more improved, & both Peterson's have good Size for their respective weight-classes, love to see both get hooked up w/ some real Trainer(s). Finkel has the ability to provide such, Hunter is ok, but he's not really high on my list.
Karass took a sister-kissing Draw, but at least that does not beat me. The Jerry girl won a S.Dec, & the Jerry guy Zbik, looked solid in his win. Time for him to step up at least in terms of his Euro competition. Al'Po' will close a bunch of Parlays for me tomorrow, one way or the other. U.S.S. Cunningham will close 1 out, W/L or D.
Happy Memorial Day everyone! bigeiii

Al'Po' kicked some Great White North A! Beat down on a pretty BIG guy. I was reading reports this AM compaing him to Joe Frazzzier. That's a tall comparrison to live up to, but I like what I've seen so far, & Al'Po' is indeed on the fast track. That typed; I still don't know if he's for real??? But I do like what I see. Now lets see how he handles 2 guns.
U.S.S. Cunningham+15o took care of a lot of bizness for me. Wierd reading fight, as I don't know if the Knee KW took was ruled a KD or not? H; it may have been ruled a Foul over there??? But I sure do like +money. Near perfect week for me, only the LOW on the Pole fight beat me.
