Roy Jones Jr. wins this fight.
Why? It's destiny.
Any real fight fans knows B-Hop will never beat Roy Jones Jr no matter what.
Some things just aren't meant to be. B-Hop will never get what he wants.

I can't agree with this. What made Roy Jones great was his lightening speed and ultra fast reflexes. Speed never really goes BUT timing and reflexes do. People say Roy's punch resistance is gone but I don't agree as I don't think he ever had any! It was his reflexes that got him out of trouble time and time again. You can't hit what you can't see. You saw how easy Jones was to hit in the Calzaghe and Green fights.
At their peaks there wasn't much difference between the 2 but in my opinion Jones was better. In fact I rate Jones at his peak up their with the best of them, Hagler, Leonard. They all would have has problems with him because of that speed and those reflexes.
B-Hop has aged the best maybe of any fighter in history. He has never taken much punishment in his career and his dedication outside the ring means he fights like a guy 10 years younger. B-Hop is a ring warrior. I don't think we ever call Roy a warrior. He used his immense skill to avoid wars. But his skills have declined at an enormous rate over the past 10 years. It was clear to me after the first Tarver Fight that Roy Jones was no olonger the same fighter. It was then he should have retired but like so many before him he never knew when to stop.
B-Hop will make Roy fight his fight. I expect an easy B-Hop win just a matter of how and when. I will play B- Hop on points and parlay him wth Groves and Lucian Bute. Should pay out about evens with little to worry about..

Wow guys what a night last night. Met the great Nigel Benn here on holiday. Took me 5 cocktails to go get the courage and go over and say hi. What a cool friendly guy. Ended up chatting for 5 or 6 hours about boxing (the misues isnt thrilled with me right now but who cares!)
The man wanted nothing more then to fight Roy Jones in his hayday. I don't think the darkdestroyer would have had any chance (not that I said that!) but his opinion on tomorrow's fight was very interesting. He is convinced RJJ wins on a split decision tomorrow. This man was one of the great middleweights of his era and anyone who saw the Gerald McClennan fight, The Eubank fights, the Michael Watson fight and Barkley fight would have to agree. What he lacked in finesse he made up for in heart, courage and raw power. So sad the Watson and McClennan (forgive my drunken spelling) are the way they are now. I never brought up either name as you can imagine.
Anyway getting bac to the point. He is in agreement with Thereal mrporter BIGTIME and after speaking to a man that was a 3 time world champ I am starting to regret that Hopkins on points bet and especially the large parlay I placed on B-HOP, Groves and Lucian..
