Hatton to win outright +210 although quite clearly that will roll down as Paman drifts due to the large amounts of British Money.
Why does Pacman deserve to be sucha strong favourite? really?
1. he beat up on an old and on the way out De La Hoya.
2. Took him 9 rounds to get David Diaz out of there
3. Close fights with the much smaller Marquez, i thought Marques won both. A slow start in the second fight cost him again. Mind you Marquez is a true hall of famer but at his best he doesnt beat hatton up. He also beat barrera for a 2nd time a 12 rounder so he couldnt put him away only 18 months before Khan knocked his ass into next week.
4. Is Hatton at his best since his moment of greatness, battering Kostya into submission 4 years ago.
5. pacman ko's jorge solis who is hardly world class, beats an againg Morales and a MUCH smaller Larios. Larios was Kod by Israel Vasquez b4 he was taken to 12 rounds by Pacman
hattons List of victims aint super impressive but they are at least gate keeprs to the worlds title belts. Malinaggi is no slouch and Hatton did put his lights out. Lazcano IMO was a good fighter but just another gatekeeper, Hatton destroyed him. the only real test hatton has had apart from being mastered by Floyd was against colazo where he struggled due to styles and IMO not training as intensively as he should have.
All in all it should have happened 3 years ago but probabaly couldnt due to a number of variables. However i see incredible value in Hatton who stylistically if he fights as he did against Tszyu can easily win this by KO or convincing decsion. Im all in on this with a max bet. As I am speaking Betfair has a massive amount on Pacman to win by KO.........the american bookies taking a price.
Hatton by Late KO or Decision - what a price. so all you unders lovers good luck but i cant see the value.

couple of things... the malignaggi fight was stopped by his corner, and malignaggi was pissed, he wanted to continue...his lights weren't put out.
and in hatton's previous fight with lazano he looked lackluster and likely would of been stopped in the 10th himself if it wasn't for a little help from the hometown ref.
of course the fight with dlh can't be figured into the equation... diaz was pac's first fight at that weight and he was the smaller guy... marquez is THE best counter puncher in the business, a bad matchup for a come forward fighter... whether you thought pac lost or not, you can't argue that they weren't very close fights that could of went either way.
i think pac is going to beat up hatton pretty good, but this is a style fight that we haven't seen pac in in for a long time...we'll have to wait and see...
i don't see hatton ko'n pac. just don't see it. but if you're going to play him, the late KO or decision seem like the way to go. best of luck man.
