Should Cotto retire IF he loses to Yuri?

I certainly think so. If he loses, he's got no place to go. Obviously, he won't win at welterweight with Pacman and Mayweather there. Losing this match against Yuri at 154 would be an exclamation point for his career. Although I'm hoping for Cotto to win this match, just so he extends his career and to at least bring him back to the limelight. Cotto @ 1.52

yuri had no power ,,therefore nothing for cotto to fear,,seems to me this one was won by the matchmaker as much as by the guy in the ring

While it's true Foreman didn't offer much resistance, it was good to see Cotto get a decent win and not a beating for once.

Thee are a few Matches I would like to see Cotto in.

First being Kermit Cintron, a guy who Margarito beat twice, and I'm sure many feel he probably used hand wraps in those two fights.

If we cannot get Cintron then a rematch with Mosley at 154 this time would be good.

Last but not least, fight Margarito at 154 as your last dance, I think it's too soon both men to fight as Margarito needs another tune up, and Cotto needs one more confidence builder.

As Cotto says he wants the big names, I don't feel he has it at 147 against the elite or the elite at 154 but Cintron/Mosley/Margarito are all good choices.

How good would it be for Cotto to say fight his last fight in NY against Margarito next JUNE (right before the P.R day parade)?

I would love for Cotto to have his last fight against that Cheater Margarito to finish off his career. A fight with Cintron wouldn't be a seller in many eyes and Bob Arums eyes, not even a Shane Mosely fight would be a seller. There are a few Big money fights that Cotto would be better off taking and they are: Rematch with Manny at a higher weight then there first fight. I know most of you wouldn't want that fight because Manny is just to fast for Cotto and we would just see Manny beat Cotto down again. But the fight would sell regardless because of there names and arguement that Cotto has a legit trainer in Steward and that he didn't have a trainer in the first fight. Another would be Floyd Mayweather. Yes here is another fight we wouldn't wana see cause Floyd is on another boxing level then the rest but Money Mayweather sells regardless. I think his next fight will be against Margacheato and Cotto will avenge his loss and put those demons from the past to rest.
