'The Event' plays

Here are my plays:

-Parlay: Gomez (-350), Soto (-550), Pacquiao/Clottey WON'T go distance (-190) - risking 2 units to win 2.63. 

-Gomez wins inside distance - risking 1 unit to win 1.05.

-Pacquiao wins inside distance - risking 2.8 units to win 2 units.

-Pacquiao wins in round  7-9 - risking .5 unit to win 2.26 units.

-Pacquiao wins in round 7-12 - risking .5 unit to win 1.11 units

 

I have no opinion on the Duddy fight, so no action.  I'm risking 6.8 units tonight.  Should be a fun night.  Good luck.

I liked Duddy better when he was a brawler/bleeder.  What a boring way to start the night.

Lost almost 5 units.  Bad call on the Pacquiao fight.  I thought Clottey's mental weakness would lead to him getting beat up and looking for a way out of the fight.  I should've figured that it would lead to him not throwing punches and just fighting to lose a decision.  I feel dumb.

It was a lame effort, but Clottey does that alot.  He had no excuse for not beating Cotto.  He just never went for it.  He wasn't beating Manny last night, and he never even tried.  Tough night for me, but I'm still ahead of the game in 2010.  I've bet nine fights this year, and that was only the second that I lost on (under 9.5 in Lara/Brewer was the other).
