In all my years as a boxing fan I cannot ever remember a two week period where 3 major fight cards have been scrapped due to injuries.
1st: Vargas pulls out and delays the Showtime PPV till Nov.
2nd: Next week's HBO PPV is scrapped due to a JMM cut
and now....
3rd: The eldest Klitschko pulls out of his return fight on Sept. 22nd against McCline due to a back injury.
Now the next big card will be Taylor-Pavlik. Just win it looked like boxing fans would have a full schedule for September we are now down to one major fight. What a run of injuries.
