Reynaldo Lopez wins by 10 round decision (+3572) .5 units to win 17.86 units.
I actually kind of like this play alot. He's been in with good competition and alot of people say he beat Kirilov in Russia, knocking him down twice but losing a bogus decision. Now hes in with Oliver, whos not unlike Kirilov. He's been pretty sheltered outside of a controversial win over Gary Stark, whos nothing special in my book. 36-1 is great value in this spot.

By the way, great pick. Lopez had only been beaten by champions. The other guys he had fought were bums. Was hard to guage him. And, Oliver had never beaten anyone of note. Lopez crushed him.

Good semi-call Hak backing Lopez in some fashion. You were right on with your reasoning and yeah that Stark win was controversial. Oliver really lost that fight and Stark has proven to stink of late. I am so glad to see Oliver lose, his style is atrocious to watch. There is no reason a young 122 lb fighter should fight the way he does. The look on Scully's face was priceless last night, utter shock. All boxing fans won last night, hopefully Oliver won't be on TV for a while.

DAMN, just watched the fight on DVR been busy, thats why I have been MIA. That was a case of getting greedy and playing the decision prop instead of the straight up play. I had more faith in Olivers chin I guess. He looked like he was shot. Needless to say I was rooting very hard for him to get up.
I should have played the 10-1, but i thought there was more value on the 35-1 and i wasnt looking to go crazy on it. I can live with it. Oliver's whining about Steve Molitor in the prefight made me feel good. I had a feeling Lopez wasn't the kind of guy to look past and it certainly looks like he did.
Oh well.

Lanardo Tyner (+1960) by 12 rd decision over Mike Arnaoutis .25 units to win 4.9
I need a reason to watch this fight so why not try another long shot decision prop on a dog?
This isn't really a pro-Tyner play as much as it is an anti "Mighty Mike" play. I just don't buy into him as being good enough to be -700 over anyone. He was thoroughly outboxed by Kendall Holt and has had only one fight in over a year. He's a B- level guy. Tyner hasnt fought anyone and has struggled a bit at times to keep his undefeated record. He's stepping up for sure but the opportunity will be there to land and score points with the judges.
Mike Alvarado/Michel Rosales Under 9.5 (+170) 1 unit to win 1.7
Rosales is going to want to brawl. Is Alvarado going to try to set a different pace and try to outbox him? I don't think so. I think this is going to be a great fight to watch but I see the pace being far to fast for this one to go the distance. I'd lean towards Alvarado being the victor but not at the price he is fetching.

Timothy Bradley (+475) over Junia Witta 1 unit to win 4.75
Value play here. I wish Bradley had more experience, but Witter has struggled with lesser guys. As A2C said in his thread, Bradley can move well enough to disrupt Witter's gameplan. It also doesn't hurt that Bradley appears to be in tremendous shape and seems like a real motivated guy, even though he is going overseas. I could see him stealing a decision in the later rounds.

Shouldn't have had to sweat until the last score was read. The judge that had it 115-112 for Witter should not ever judge a fight anywhere ever again. I had it 115-112 the other way. Bradley turned it with one punch and Witter just seemed to either be wary or fatigued. Great job by Bradley to go over there and take a title back to the US. With him, Forbes back in the mix and Holt/Torres and Paulie/Hatton, I think this is a nice little division.
First half of the fight was boring, last half wasn't nearly as bad but maybe thats because i had the money on Bradley.
