Edner Cherry/Stevie Johnston DRAW (+2500) .2 units to win 5
I like the over in this fight alot but am not going to go crazy because theres a chance that the workmanlike Cherry will storm a shot Johnston out of the building.
If it does get to the cards though, I expect it will have been competitive. Most of Cherry's lightweight fights that go the distance are close-ish decisions. If Johnston is not a shell of himself, I dont see any reason that both these guys cant win a handful of rounds against the other.
I'll roll the dice on the draw.

Ah well, I should have figured Johnston was shot. Johnston was clearly hurt by Edner Cherry even early in this fight, which is not a good sign for anybody's career. Hopefully, he hangs it up.

Juan Lazcano (+850) over Ricky Hatton .3 units to win 2.55
I think there are enough intangibles to justify a small play here. With Hatton's cold and delay in training, the fact that he is coming off a brutal TKO loss and dropping back down in weight and Lazcano's desperation. At 8.5 to one, its worth a shot.
N'Dou points handicap +18.5 KO Wins (-115) 1.73 units to win 1.5
I just think if this is another 12 rounder, Ndou will be better. I've written it before but Ndou is a guy with a stinky style that often makes for close fights and makes his opposition look bad. The lone exception to that is the first fight with Paulie. Now, he's had the 12 rounds with him and the opportunity to improve. I think he'll be competitive enough to cash this ticket unless . . .
N'Dou/Malignaggi Under 10.5 (+450) 1 unit to win 4.5
If its more of the same and Paulie dominates N'Dou again, who's to say this one isnt stopped at some point? It's not like some leather didnt fly in the first fight. Maliagnaggi doesnt stop people but he thinks he can DOMINATE this guy, he knows Hatton is on the horizon and if NDou is just showing up for an unwarranted payday, his speed could wear Ndou down.
Its tough breaking down a rematch that should never happen. In the last one, I banked on Cintron making the result different with a similar play to this one and it didnt pan out. My justification for the two plays are that either Malignaggi blows him out to the point of stoppage or Ndou covers the +18.5. If one of them hits, its profit.

N'Dou keeps it close and earns me an even week. He did well to keep it ugly and land some good shots when he had the opportunity. I had it 114-114. Paulie hasn't looked great in either of his fights this year but at least he seems to have an excuse this time.
