Thoughts on Joey Hernandez v. Ed Paredes...

I am a newbe when it comes to betting on boxing.  I took a flyer on Jesse Brinkley +250 last week.  I risked two units and won five.  I was pretty stoaked.  Now the above-referenced bout will be on ESPN 2 tomorrow so I would like to put a little on the bout.

Hernandez is -130 and Paredes is even money.  What are your thoughts and why in this match?  Obviously by the tale of the tape and their fight records it looks fairly even but my guess is that someone on this forum has a good angle to this match.  I appreciate any help you all can provide.

Well I discovered that Hernandez and Paredes ending in a draw last time out.  Both fighters thought they won the bout but the scorecards showed a draw.  The only knockdown came in the 5th round when Paredes knocked Hernandez down.  This is a rematch and apparently both fighters each were deducted points due to illegal hits last match.

Anyone have any angles on this match?  I am leaning Hernandez -130 right now.

i bet and saw this fight last time around.....paredes won in my mind and i took paredes then and will again

WHOA!!!  Paredes decapitated him.  That looked like it was going to be a hell of a fight.
