Welcome fight fans this is going to be a great battle between these 2 fighters and I have a strong feeling this one goes the distance amidst all the talk about an explosive "ko" type of fight so going with my gut here which has always been the best way to go

Let's face it, Ponce deleon mite be the more experienced fighter but something tells me Boom Boom has been waiting for this opportunity ever since he can imagine thus signing the deal with golden boy promotions. I think goldenboy has a lot riding in favor of boom boom to win this fight to build his status and to create a stronger new generation of young fighters but aside from all of that I think if there is anyone that can match up well with ponce deleon that would definitely have to be BOOM BOOM. This has the makings for a close fight but I feel boom boom can definitely apply the pressure and get ahead on the score cards if he continues to pace himseld as the fight goes on.

You do know that Ponce De Leon is also a Golden Boy fighter? I actually think he his more marketable than Bautista. I am sure that GBP likes the dollar signs they see in a rematch with Caballero or an all Mexican showdown against the winner of Vazquez-Marquez III, though in my opinion that would definitely bring another loss De Leon's way.
Any chin concerns for Bautista? Technically he is definitely the better fighter and of course he has a large edge in hand speed, but I question his whiskers.
Nice personal record, LOL. What is the use in posting that if the picks that built the record were not seen on the forum? I have never seen a boxing bettor break down his record by win and losses, that doesn't make much sense with boxing or any sport where you are betting on a money line.

I saw this as a fairly even matchup when looking at lines earlier.. Ponce having the KO power but honestly not much in way of technique/discipline.. I can see him throwing wildly out there and being countered by Bautista who has a higher overall skill levl imo. On the other hand he's got the better chin and more fights under his belt. At +155 I will take Bautista.. he has a good chacne at the mild upset if he can box and counter and avoid getting hit by the big power punch.
