Jose Reyes vs. Efren Hinojosa Under 9.5 (+185) (Sportsbook) 1 unit
I don't think Reyes is getting enough credit for how strong he's looked in his last two fights, against Ivan Valle and Antonio DeMarco. Reyes knocked Valle down three times, including a punishing hook that ended matters in the 4th round. And that KO is even more impressive considering that Valle went ten competitive rounds against the talented Rolando Reyes in his next fight. Jose Reyes also impressed me against DeMarco, as he came back from a lackluster beginning of the fight, and I thought he did enough in the last half of the fight to earn a decision. DeMarco was hurt in the last rounds, and I don't think he would've survived if the bout had been 12 rounds instead of 10. DeMarco's a very good boxer-puncher, so Reyes deserves a lot of credit for this performance. Meanwhile, Hinojosa is on his last legs, as he's coming off a 4th round KO loss to Javier Castro. I watched Hinojosa against Miguel Huerta last year, and I thought he was lucky to go the distance after being floored in the second round. Tonight, I think that Reyes will take the fight to Hinojosa, who won't be willing to take 10 rounds of punishment.

Alexis Camacho vs. Carlos Molina Under 9.5 (+250) (Bodog) .75 unit
I see this as good value since Camacho has formidable power, and I don't see Molina as the quickest guy in the world. Despite Molina's solid performances against JCC, Jr., and Mike Alvarado, I have doubts about the prospects of a pure boxer without great quickness. I watched him live against Donald Camarena on the Cloud-Gonzalez undercard, and I thought that Molina looked very hittable that night. I'm thinking that Camacho rises to the occasion in the biggest fight of his life and lands one of his big power shots to KO Molina at around the halfway point of the fight.

Sergio Gabriel Martinez vs. Kermit Cintron Over 9.5 (+175) (Bodog) 2 units
I think this is a weird line. Despite the fact that Cintron's moving up in weight, he's not facing a big puncher in Martinez, so I don't see why the books are predicting an early KO. Martinez is a slick southpaw who wins with speed and counters. Cintron's no slouch in the athletic department himself, so I'm expecting an excellent boxing match. Usually, boxing = decision = over wins, so that's the logic of this play.

One heck of a number there on Martinez vs. The Frog. Hope that hits man!
Yes, and can you believe that it opened at +235? Someone setting the lines seems to have been asleep at the wheel on this one. I just checked Bodog again, and it's down to +160, so I suggest people hit it before it loses further value.

World class acting job by Hinojosa is going to cost us the under 9.5 This should be declared a NO CONTEST, but it is of no consolation to players like A2C and I
Hinojosa robbed us of a clear victory

Tough luck on the Reyes under last night. I guess the only consolation is that it really did go under 9.5. (me sticking my tongue out to the bookies' boxing rules)
I'm feeling so good about that Martinez-Cintron over that I'm adding:
Martinez vs. Cintron
Over 9.5 (+145) Sportsbook
2 units
So, that's 4 units total riding on this over. One of my biggest plays since the DLH fiasco. Hopefully, this one turns out a little better for me.

Am I the only one celebrating? (As Juan Gonzalez said: "Baseball -- sometime it good, sometime not so good." Applies to boxing, too. That's why you search for value and never have too much riding on the chalk).
