I think I had a small wager on Harris to beat Kim earlier this year...and lost. A buddy of mine told me about the Miguel Vazquez.Ji Hoon Kim fight set for tomorrow night in which he likes Vazquez @ +180.

What do you guys think? Vazquez gave Prescott his 1st L fyi.

I like Vazquez quite a bit myself.  My only concern is the big line movement toward Kim.  If Kim does not KO Vazquez he is in big trouble.  I sat ringside for Kim/Harris, and bet on Harris as well.  I feel Harris quit.

As for Vazquez, I am quite familiar with him.  Let me tell you something about Vazquez.  He is very slick.  I saw him in a non-TV bout in 2007 live against Timothy Bradley.  The scores were wide but let me assure you the fight could have gone to Vazquez very easily.

I haven't seen Vasquez as much as you have Throwback. Does Vasquez have a good uppercut or counterpunching skills? I'm almost willing to throw money on him if he has both or even one. I like what I've seen from Kim but he seems to be a sucker for an uppercut plus those Korean eyes are a handicap in boxing - I'm being serious.

I saw the Vasquez- Prescott fight and I wasn't impressed. Prescott is a front runner even when he's in shape and for the Vasquez fight Precott seemed really out of shape. Meanwhile, Kim is a Korean Margarito who simply won't tire or at the very least show that he is tiring. Yes Kim has leaky defense but Iv'e seen him take big shots before and shrug them off (like Margarito), plus I don't think Vasquez has true power. Kim will get the edge in close rounds with his activity and might stun/rock Vasquez at some point in the fight. I'm picking KIM

I'm not sure about this fight yet.  One thing I do know is that you can't miss Kim if you try.  He gets hit with everything.

A few things I noticed; just some tidbits to be interpreted how one see's fit.

Vazquez hasn't fought in 13 months, Kim 3 months ago.

Vazquez is promoted by Margarito, as well as spars with him. A source told me that the loss to Bradley was very close, despite the SC, and could have easily gone to Vasquez. I didn't see it, just relaying. His loss to Alvarez was at WW [who is now teetering at jr. middleweight]. 

Fight is in Texas. Vazquez has never fought there. Kim will be fighting in Texas for his 3rd x in the last 1.5 years.

Vazquez will be the biggest [in terms of size] fighter Kim has faced.

Covers needs to step up their game and and install a post edit function...

Vazquez used to spar with Sergio Mora a lot. Mexilatin Snake speaks very highly of his ability.

The long layoff can't be good for Vasquez, He probably trained just to make weight. I saw the weigh-in and I must say Kim looks MUCH stronger.

I think I'm staying out of it. Spoke to a contact who's in the biz and after hearing his opinion I think I'm staying away from Vazquez. I might drop .5u just for kicks but thats the max.

Congrats in Vazquez whoever took him. I knew I should have played it.
