Vyacheslav Glazkov vs. Malik Scott play

at first glance you may think wow Scott has a 35-0 record and he is the underdog?!? But looking into it further you see that Scott has fought a bunch of tomato cans. He has pretty much made a living fighting guys that are 3 or 4 notches below him. Scott is a good boxer and has a very good jab. He likes to work from the outside and some call it boring but it's effective. He doesn't have much pop in his punches.

Glazkov on the other had has a 14-0 record and is coming up. HE has a substantial amateur background and has won a silver and bronze medal. He is not your typical european stiff boxer. He has some decent movement and has a good jab along with very good power. I think power is a huge difference in this fight. I think they are pretty much even in the boxing ability department but Glazkov has that power that he can depend on.

One thing that kind of scares me is that the over 8.5 is heavily juiced so the books are expecting this to go to a decision which should technically favor Scott. But I trust Glazkov to figure out Scott after a couple rounds and pretty much walk him down and win a decision with a chance of a late stoppage. Scott's motivation has often been questioned and he supposedly has a renewed interest in fighting again...but IMO I would never want to back a fighter that has had motivational issues before...wouldn't be surprised if he quit on the stool.

Glazkov at -165 is pretty much the best you will ever get from him again.

I will not bet this one, but if I did I would bet on  malik scott, I think he has straigtened his life out,knows that it is now or never and will put on a nice boxing display to win a close decision.

scott put on a defensive masterpeice and boxed beautifully, horrible decision, just horrible,  I have had it with B.S. like this,

I should have lost this bet..as I thought Scott clearly won. I did think before the fight that the judges would give "close" rounds to Glazkov's more "crowd friendly" style.

Boxing sucks now..

I am in the middle of this sport and if you think these decisions are bad you should see the off t.v. fights in other guys home towns, it is much much worse, the only way to stop it is a nationl commision and I do belive that is it coming soon and It needs too as this is now getting crazy, this garbage seems to happen on a week to week basis, corrupt decisions like this is the reason why the mainstream has stoped dealing with boxing, so until the garbage is cleaned up, boxing will never be as big as it was in it's golden age, these corrupt promoters are all about money, well if they were smart they would be just and make correct decisions about things and that way the major sponsors will come back and the sport has a chance to be bigger than ever. these corrupt men who control the sport do not care about it's future they only care about how much money they can make...now,  a national commision is the only way to make peace in the boxing world, fighters, fans stand up.....
