WBC have given the belt back to hopkins declaring it a Tech-draw. Now I talk to my sportsbook and they refuse to pay my Draw bet, should I go see a lawyer ( probably take it to court) because my draw bet is worth $1200 so is a big deal. What are my chances they going to have to pay.

You're probably not going to get paid.. the problem is who decision is the official decision.. the Sactioning body or the athletic commissions? Since they both disagree on the result of the fight any sportsbook won't pay you because of the disparity, among many many other reasons.. eventually the commission may change the ruling to that of the WBC's, but by then it would be way too long after the fact to expect anything.. I also doubt if there is anything in the sportsbook's fine print which states what decisions dictates the results they pay.. sucks bro.. there are many issues that come to light with this latest WBogusC act.. it's a joke..

Anyhow, at the fight it's a No Contest, different than a Draw. A draw can only occur after four full rounds. To be more technical, in California it is called a "No Decision". Good luck suing any offshore sportsbooks because all actions within the U.S. are illegal. GL!

Although Costa Rica has no official Army, it is probably the safest country in the world. If you try to buy major property you have to deal with a certain element... the Cosa Nostra didn't get eliminated, they owned Paradise Poker originally (silent backers) and many offshore sportsbooks. They protect and keep Costa Rica safe, clean and a nice place to visit or live. Every other Central American country has major corruption. I know it might sound like BS, but try to buy a large amount of property for investement purposes or even a hotel with a casino... the right people will seek you out and you will need their permission.
