I am tempted to take Chavez against Duddy. If Chavez Jr. has any ability, he should be able to beat Duddy pretty handily. I'm just not willing to part money on what I feel is a VERY over rated fighter. I actually see this fight as being a war. Chavez isn’t exactly evasive and neither is Duddy. Once the fight gets going, both will go toe-to-toe, yet I don’t think either fighter hits hard enough to knock the other out. So I think we might end up seeing a contorversial Chavez points victory. Odds of -300 on Chavez to me makes this a no play.
The fight I will be playing on this weekend is Tyson Fury v John McDermott tomorrow night. I saw the first fight and McDermott dominated it, yet Fury got what I consider, frankly a disgusting deceision. One of the worst I have seen. The odds for this fight are Fury -300, McDermott +200. I was seriously tempted to play the dog here not there will be 3 judges and not a corrupt ref, but I think there is a better play out there.
I will be playing the prop Fight to go the distance @ -160. If you look at Fury's KO percentage it is 80% in 10 fights. That look's impressive but in reality all he has ever fought are bums. I don't think they guy has legitimate KO power. McDermott has been KO'd twice. Once is a freak knock down where he sprained his knee or ankle (honestly can't remember) and once when Matt Skelton KO'd him in 2005. I think the 2005 Matt Skelton is ALOT better then Tyson Fury today. I don't think Fury has the power to KO a guy, who I think has a pretty solid chin. Recently he said "But when I get in there I'm gutsy and will fight to the end and this time I know I'm completely ready"
I don't think McDermott himself has massive power himself. (51% KO ratio from 31 fights). He hit Fury with some pretty big looking shots for 10 rounds and Fury never looked in any trouble whatsoever. I don't think he will have the same amount of success as he did the first fight. I think this fight will be closer and I really see this going the whole way.
Of course you have to be cautious with these kind of plays. In a boxing ring one punch can change all but I am quietly confident on this play and that is the ONLY play I will make this weekend. Hopefully Chavez and Duddy is at least a good scrap!

Guys having second thoughts about this play and indeed I am making it a NO PLAY. The odds have gone into -110 for the fight to go the distance! and I can see why. Both fighters look terribly out if shape at the weigh in. Fury weighed in at 270! and McDermott at 254. Are you fcuking kidding me ...I hope no one has pulled the trigger on this.
I am beyond disgusted at the shape these so called 'fighters' have arrived in the ring at. I read articles in the buildup saying it was a grudge match and how they have been training so hard. Are you kidding me! And grudge match! What a joke, these 2 lads laughing away at the weigh in not a care in the world..
If you havent bet lads dont! This has now become a NO PLAY. I am making a big bet at the world cup the weekend. See my world cup thread in the soccer forum.
