Just one pick for now. Striking while the iron is hot with this first one, as I'm kicking myself for not playing it at +115 at 5 Dimes this morning. Now it's -115. Thankfully, the boxing oddsmaker at Sportsbook moves a little slower. Be back tomorrow with more picks and my rationale behind this one. GL to everyone this weekend.

Love Clay on this one.....also liking Pascal.....I like the fact clay is fight at 127 like he always had should helps..Clay didnt look bad versus Solis until he got ko'd but Solis doesnt look bad versus anyone except manny pac...........Beltran doesnt have the power to hurt clay or push him back....Beltran's peak ended 4 years ago after the guzman fight....
honestly im going at least a grand on each....take note that both fights opened in the +100 range and im seeing a big corrleation on fights that open -100 & +100.....

Good to see you guys on the same page. The early line movement at 5 Dimes is usually telling. Definitely keep us posted on what you're seeing with odds in that range Cee. I've read your other posts on fights around these numbers and I think you're onto something.

I'm on the Pascal side also. Diaconu is very bad, and he actually looked scared to me at the weigh in.
I don't want to touch Meza Clay though. In a vacuum I like his chances of winning, but Beltran has the promotional home court advantage, and strange strange things can happen in boxing in the state of Texas.

As far as Beltran - Meza Clay, I can understand your reservations. I gotta' say, I made a note to myself after watching Beltran - Roman to fade the hell out of Beltran the next time he fought. I took him in that one and was nervous the whole time until they announced the dubious decision in his favor. Could that happen again tonight? Definitely. I just see Meza Clay as tactically superior and so much more aggressive than his hometown opponent. It should be very close, but I see Meza Clay having the extra bit of fire down the stretch that he'll need to pull out a possibly grueling decision.
GL this weekend with your plays and definitely post if you're liking anything else.

A2C, Pascal was a nice call. I didn't actually watch FNF, so I can't really comment. I was a little concerned that some of the big action on this board seemed inspired by the bookies changing the price, rather than any actual ring analysis or new information (not talking about A2C or anyone specifically). Those guys are very very sneaky, and they can't be trusted to telegraph winners to anyone who's checking the lines every few hours. I thought Clay might win a close fight, but with potentially stinky judging and a probable distance fight, decided to lay off. It's very important though to never let the books choose a side for you with the price they set or the shifts they make.
