Paul Williams vs. Andy Kolle
Over 7.5 (+105) (5 Dimes)
&
Chris Arreola vs. Israel Carlos Garcia
Under 5.5 (-260)
1 Unit (+183)
This evening's card on VS. promises to be an exciting one, with Paul Williams moving up to middleweight and taking on the durable Andy Kolle in the main event. We'll also get a good look at rising heavyweight star Chris Arreola against an opponent unlikely to back down against the numerous haymakers that will be coming at him as long as the fight lasts, Israel Carlos Garcia. I expect Williams to either box his way to a decisive points win over Kolle or possibly score a late round KO. Not to take anything away from Williams, but his 1st round KO of Quintana was probably more of an aberition than anything else, where he caught his seemingly overconfident opponent off guard. In this evening's fight, I expect a controlled, deliberate performance where we see less of the volume punching Williams is known for and more of a threading the needle sort of style. Williams should have some extra pop behind his punches with the added weight and this might begin to take it's toll on Kolle during the late rounds as it did during his only loss (a KO loss) against Andre Ward back in '06. Still, Kolle has proven he can go the length with above average competition as seen in hisrecent points wins over Matt Vanda and Jonathan Reid. As for Arreola - Garcia, this just has the feel of a ticking time bomb. Arreola is a monster puncher who likes to take his opponents out quickly. Contrast that with Garcia's all out brawling style and the fact that he's never faced anyone professionally with even close to the skills of Arreola and we have a fight that should be extremely entertaining while it lasts, though it really shouldn't last more than 4 or 5 rounds.
