Fight of the decade in my opinion. That was sick stuff. I am on cloud nine and I lost big.
same. around the 8th round i just stopped caring about the bet. you can't put a price on an event like this, watching this fight was a life experience. but then the reality hit lol, i lost all of my winnings last week, back to 0. ah well.
the low-blow was fair to me, the controversy was in the ending, i thought it was a TKO as it was happening. it was borderline, im obviously biased, but seeing rafael take that kind of punishment was heart-breaking. after hitting the ropes vasq hit him with a clean right and left hook, rafs hands weren't up and his chin open, just brutal shots, marq looked like he had given up. i had vasq winning the decision clearly at that point.
i really hope there isn't a fourth fight, raf could get killed, they gave us more than we could ask for, let them take a few easy paydays to end their careers.

Your telling me. I ripped off my shirt; lol. I thought Russell was waving his hands.
Agreed, as much as I would like to see them fight again, that's way too selfish on my part. It really would be too much, like you said they have given us enough.

lol, I screamed in joy when the ref stepped in, thinking it was a fairytale ending to a magical fight... until he started to count. The way he shielded Marquez made it look like a TKO, Marq clearly couldn't defend himself and the ref saved him.
Nice allusion to Taylor-Chavez, I thought Vasq was clearly going to win the decision, so giving Vasq the TKO doesn't change anything, it only saves Rafa from a further beating.
The books are probably popping champagne's bottles as we speak, just like the in Mayo-Vargas under.
Good luck bro, hopefully big Marquez brings us an underdog win.

Yep, in the heat of the moment it really looked like he was about to stop it.
Yeah, the books did very well Saturday night with that result. It was just one of those nights for me, can't say the same for the Vargas-Mayo fight; I was probably one of the few that was on the over. Those guys couldn't carry their punch up to that weight.
I have a feeling Juan Manuel could ruin a weekend for all of the Philippines.
