His next fight is basically already set with JMM, who, at this point in his career, probably doesn't have a chance either. (Especially moving up to a class he was already just embarrased against Mayweather in). Khan is also trained by Roach so they likely never fight, and of Morales, Maidana, Ortiz, Bradely, and Berto...probably only Ortiz would have a decent chance and only if he fought how he did against Berto. Seems he's gonna have to just make some cash and go out on top if Mayweather is too afraid to lose his perfect record.

I don't think he'll fight Williams because of height difference 6'1" to 5'6" he would have no chance to hit him and Martinez is way to risky so Bob Arum will avoid him.

the punisher is way to tall, long, and lean for manny--
My thoughts exactly, plus he throws over a 100 punches per round so he probably would never ever get hit, it would be fun to watch as long as it lasted.(Williams wins by KO)

ok..think of somebody that could match well with pacquiao? only one right? mayweather?
and put yourself in pacquiao's shoes..why would you retire when you're raking up all the money..
Good point, I just want more back and forth action like before he signed with Top Rank. He could still fight better opponents than he has the last couple of fights.

he was still climbing up the ranks before so each fight is great..these few last fights could've been better i know, but look at it this way..weight division..it wasnt easy doing that..thats why he is an 8 division champ, i agree with you on the last fight..he could've picked a better opponent.

As mentioned before, Khan trains at the same camp. I am sure Roach would want nothing to do with them fighting each other. If Khan had a chin, it might be the only interesting fight.
And actually the second list of fighters is more impressive than the 1st list. Cotto would probably by a favorite over any of the fighters on the 1st list. Bradley? 2 of his last 4 fights ended with headbutts. His whole career is made up of decision victories over B level fighters. Berto? Never beat anyone. Just lost badly to Victor Ortiz. Ortiz? Kid quit against Maidana. Drew against a pedestrian Peterson. Maidana? The guy that got a MD against an ancient Morales (you know the guy who in his prime was blown out by Pac).
What makes think any of these fights will be competitive? If Pac fights Ortiz, Ortiz gets stopped. Then what? He just becomes another fighter you put down on the 2nd list who had no chance of beating Pacquiao.
Any criticism you bring about on the second list, you can dump two fold
on the first list. At least the 2nd list are of proven fighters who
deserved their paydays.
