williams vs. cintron

Question

I feel this is alot closer then the line. I can get Cintron at &#x2B;475 or better. I feel he has a shot in this one. Any thoughts? :

unfortunetly I havent seen Kermit fight before. I know his only two losses were to a loaded glove Margarito. As far a Paul, I think he may be the most over hyped boxer out there right now. He is to long and lanky for the wieght classes that he fights in. I would be tempted to bet Kermit, but I have a large amount on Rua tonight, so I will just enjoy this fight.

Cintron got cleanly KO&#x27;d by Martinez, but the ref blew the call and called it a headbutt.  That should&#x27;ve been another loss.

This is a no win situation for Williams, Cintron is NOT an Elite fighter.

Even is we excuse the two losses from Cintrom from the loaded Gloves of Margarito he was a 4-1 under dog against Angulo and won (that isn't saying much).

He did get KO'd by Martinez but got a gift and this fight is a gift.

There is NO Gain in this fight for Paul Williams.. he goes from fight of the year to this it's a huge step down.

Paul Williams has been talking a lot about knocking out Cintron..which seems out of character for him.

Paul Williams may be over looking Cintron who does have power.

I cannot see laying -775 on Williams.. who knows what Paul Williams will come out.. after the war he had with Martinez.

Even the props suck -210 for ITD? NO thanks.

While I do like ITD I would never lay -210 on a prop that supposed to be a value.

Hope everyone enjoys the fight however long it lasts.

Remember this is a NO win for Paul Williams, he has nothing to gain by beating Cintron and everything to lose. POOR Management in my opinion.

There weren&#x27;t too many other options for him.  I think you&#x27;re being a little hard on Cintron.  He&#x27;s not one of my favorites either, but he&#x27;s one of the three best jr. middles in the world (if you don&#x27;t count Martinez and PWill).  I think it&#x27;s a fine fight for PWill, and if he stops Cintron, people should be impressed.  That being said, I think the bet here might be Williams by dec at &#x2B;240.  I think this could be a pretty good fight, with Cintron posing a few problems.  He&#x27;s a good athlete, and his awkwardness may make him tough to hit clean.

Oh I&#x27;m not bashing Cintron.. he&#x27;s a decent fighter.. I even said Paul Williams may be over looking him and HIS POWER. At this point in his career Williams needs to make the best fights that make the MOST MONEY and that&#x27;s at 147 .. even if it&#x27;s NOT against Floyd or Pac-man. My point is Paul Williams has nothing to gain off this fight.. anything less than spectacular will raise question marks.I love Paul Williams but I question his management.. Paul is fighting very good opposition. yet seems to have no real place in boxing yet .. he hasn&#x27;t established a weight yet. He claims he can easily make 147 yet fights at higher weights.. why not re-join the division that is money loaded?Still have Pac-man Clottey .. Cotto Floyd Mosley Berto ( and yes a few of these are names he can easily win and make more money).I don&#x27;t see Cintron as a 8-1 dog maybe -450/ -500 tops. Why I say this is a NO WIN situation  for Paul Williams.. if he loses.. he loses a ton of marketing if he wins.. well he was supposed to.- nothing to gain for him.I hope we have a good fight.. have a feeling Cintron will surprise a few people with his right hand over the top.Either way we probably will see the winner face Martinez AGAIN.Good luck if you wager tonight, I&#x27;m laying off this one!

The more I think about it, I&#x27;m probably laying off too.  I still disagree with you though.  Martinez didn&#x27;t look spectacular against Cintron, and he&#x27;s now the middleweight champ of the world (I know he got robbed, but it was still a sloppy fight).  I think any win over Cintron is solid.  Hopefully we&#x27;ll have a good fight.
