Walker/Arreola, over 5.5 rounds, +190
Both of these sluggers actually like to work a jab. Walker likes to get off then clinch, a strategy that might become necessary if he gets stung early. Neither man is in great shape. If it goes into the 3rd/4th, I could expect them to have some very boring rounds trying to get some energy back. This might just be another tomato can for Arreola to crush. Not sure. If I was his camp I would try to get some good work in my last fight before a crack at one of the belts. Very small play here.
Williams ITD, -175
The size discrepancy here is silly. Williams is 6'1, Phillips 5'7,
13 inch reach advantage for Williams. This was a great choice by the Williams camp. He can stay outside and throw bombs at will with very little chance of getting sharp counterpunches in return.
I've heard people stating that Phillips has a good beard. Really? He has been knocked out only once. That is fine. However, what power punhers has he EVERY faced? Quartey is the only one. Is this by choice? I think so. I just don't see how he is going to generate enough offense to slow Williams down. He will be tasting the canvas tonight. It really is that simple. He is a sharp vet that knows how to survive. That will only delay the inevitable here.
This is nothing more than another showcase for Williams to get the rematch with Margo after the Shane fight. Also, who in the hell put the over in the Maro/Mosley fight at over 10.5 +120? There is almost no doubt in my mind that it would see the final bell.
