2006 Results (March-July): +19.2 units (+$1,920)
2007 Results: +42.25 units (+$4,225) Last two weeks: +.49 of a unit (+$49) 2008 to Date: -12.44 units (-$1,244)
These truly are the dog days of summer, nothing going on during the Olympics.
.75 of a unit on under 7.5 rounds (+160) in Julio-Varela I'm leery of the WNF and FNF unders after missing by a minute or so last week. Seems like a lot have gone over by just a minute or so lately. Varela is very easy to find as evidenced by Guti hitting him a ton last time out. Julio should be looking to get back some buzz after the lackluster Ishe effort. A guy who can move and has decent defense will always give him trouble, but Varela isn't that guy. I think Varela's lanky frame crumbles in 5 or 6.

I'm on the other side. That Smith performance didn't do anything for me and I wonder is the bloom is off the rose a bit with Julio. If Valera can go the distance with Gutierrez, I think he could with Julio.
We shall see soon.

Congrats, FB. I had a bad feeling that Varela might just go the distance while continuing to absorb knockouts if his corner had let him. Good job of them to step in there and give you the win. That's gotta be the only 5 knockdown fight where you could be sweating out the under.

What's the mysterious missing post in this thread (there's one more post listed on the counter than actually inside the thread)? Also, FB's "Internet Returns" thread got bumped up, but there's not a new post. Did someone write something horribly offensive last night that led to them getting banned? Interesting...

Appreciate it man, last night would have been the clincher for the ESPN under jink if that would have gone over. Julio was able to load up and land whenever he wanted to except when he was trying to finish him. I was starting to worry a bit, but Varela was going down in about every round so it was hard to get too concerned. Funny thing is the biggest punch of the fight in my mind (I think in the 4th or 5th) didn't even put Varela down; I think it was a right hand with Varela pulling back against the ropes. Nice performance by Julio, but it was basically target practice. Julio will always look good against that type of opponent, the same cannot be said against other styles.

Looks like there is a couple that are a couple threads that are missing posts (mine, pushingit's judging thread, and yoda's thread about the force). I guess someone came in with some spam last night.

I am going with BUMaro Solis at +330. According to boxrec, he should be the bigger guy but who knows.
I'll take the punchers chance on the guy with 100% KO ratio against utter bums.
Good luck.
I see where Pabon got the decision nod. I guess home court didn't hurt that cause. Pabon was on a card I went to down there in January, decent looking guy but nothing special. Reminded me of a David Estrada type fringe guy; he did have a very large local following it seemed.

Hey Brother,
The missing posts were all from the same tout trying to get people to his baseball website.
