Most of you guys know i have ties to Adamek and Wolak (who i was crazy about telling everyone to jump on it when he fought Ishe Smith but lost a split.
Well I am flying to Vegas for this and will be walking out with Wolak to the ring. I also will have some extra tix to give away to some Covers Boxing guys from this forum. (like ive done it in the past for Adamek's fights)
DO you guys give him any chance? Both fighters are in Arum's pocket and on paper Yuri looks like a more profitable fighter for Arum. No one knows how he will fight after that knee injury. Both of the fighters know eachother for a long time (gleasons) and both fought Irishman Jimmy Moore -Juri 10rd unanimous and Wolak TKO'ed Jim in 7th. I know that does not say much What do you guys thing about this fight?

Wolak will have to make it a brawl and wrestle Yuri and work inside and bang him into the ropes and just pressure. I can definitely see Yuri floating around the outside and boxing his ears off all night. It will be tough for Wolak, but he can do it (especially if Yuri has lost any mobility).
Luke has given me tickets before, to Adamek/Grant in Newark. Really nice of him. Solid dude.

Anyone with some pedigree can beat Foreman. He doesn't have the power to hurt anyone. He isn't very aggressive, so he doesn't really steal rounds. You just have to catch him.
What is your honest assessment of Wolak's power Luke? Was there a unknown reason why his last performance wasn't very good?
As far as marketability, Wolak could easily be more profitable if he can fight in Newark a few times a year while making a title push a few years from now.
The only question is if Foreman's leg is 100%. I'm guessing it's fine, or he never would have taken this fight. Assuming this to be true, Wolak is in for a long night.
Wolak's lack of movement is the key to this fight. He has to find a way to cut the ring off and do some damage against the ropes. He won't have the ability to do much in the center of the ring. I see Foreman using his reach and movement to pepper him with jabs and piling up the points.
If this was a 12 round fight he might be able to do some early body work early and turn the tide in the second half of the fight. However, he won't have that much time. He'll basically have to push the fight very hard early on and hope he can catch Foreman with something hurts him. It's also crucial because he needs to dictate this fight at HIS tempo and HIS range or he'll never get on track.
Put some doubt in Foreman's mind and get him into a brawl that he isn't equipped to handle. Test that body. Good luck, I'll be rooting for you.

Foreman moved to -200 on 5Dimes and i see the line to be right on the money. Most likely it will move up 10-15 points.
Walk- My honest opinion about Wolak and this fight is not too promising but i do give him a shot. He is missing a big punch and does not move as much as i think he should be moving. His motervation and work ethics are top notch and he will be in shape to stand for 10 rounds without a problem.
His last fight was a big misunderstanding. Like u know he was due to fight Chavez Jr (finally after 2 previous canceled contracts that were already signed. 1 for LA fight and another for Mexico fight) People were saying that he took the fight on 3 week notice but what they didn't is that he was preparing for Chavez for a long time. As u are aware Chavez pulled out 3 days before the fight. Arum was very upset at this situation and asked Wolak to take on a fight vs Mexican fighter and he also promised him a big fight. Well the Mexican fighter was not some bum. I don't know if u watched the fight but i think the kid had some skills. Wolak's situation going into the fight was a mess. 1 hour before Arum called he was packing to go back home. Hour later hes on his way to the gym to train and watch any videos he can find (youtube) of his opponent. He was a mess. Very upset that Chavez pulled out 3rd time. Unlike any other fighter he was willing to fight this Mexican kid and took the risk not knowing anything about his opponent. His camp to this day thinks that Arum knew that Chavez will pull out days in advance and threw Wolak under the bus with a fighter he was sponsoring in Mexico. Obviously one of them would move on and the other will be cut (as it happened with the Mexican kid)
The punch that rocked Wolak was perfect. I was shocked he finished the round. He said he never seen it coming. I do give him tremendous credit for getting up after 1st time on the floor and finishing the fight (as a W)
Going into this fight i can tell u this. Wolak's style is made for entertainment (no stop aggression no stop attacking) He fought many guys that were a lot stronger then him but wins on stamina factor. He mentally breaks his opponents by not stopping to attack. Plenty of body shots.
I don't know what kind of Foreman we will see. Is his knee OK? Who knows. Do i think Foreman is a more skilled fighter-YES Foreman needs to be on top of his stamina game otherwise Wolak will win. If i was not involved with Pawel and did knot know his career i would prob bet Foreman. But i do know him and i give him a shot and think hes a very live dog for this fight.
Remember that Foreman has only 8KO's and his last one was in 2004. His power might be even weaker then Wolak's. I am expecting a very entertaining fight.
