it was a great weekend for many here, and if it wasn't we all know the cfl giveth and the cfl taketh away.

Montreal's defense has been tough in stretches at home. Off of a complete dismantling by the best QB in the league playing with a lead off of a pick six. Stock couldn't be lower.
Manziel is an NFL caliber Quarterback and the only reason to think otherwise would be a short stint in the NFL in which Manziel played tough competition in his few starts. The CFL features decidedly looser competition and more space in which to work.
I am with you on the Al's this week, but the stock could be lower. If the Al's lose big this week. bettors will totally give up on betting the Al's and the books will have no choice to inflate the lines. I mean if they get crushed who is betting hard earned money on them? Sharps? No the limits are super low for them to waste time. I expect nothing but the books will adjust, or the Al's will start getting covers.
Lot of losses this week, that is the way this goes.
Anyone who has played at any point in their lives has taken part in a game like last night. There are times where it's your fault, and there are times when you just simply are victim of circumstance.
When the table starts tipping, you can overcompensate and hurt yourself even more. Defense was not good for Montreal, 7-0. Manziel has the jitters, 14-0. Blocked punt 21-0. Good luck at that point buddy.
