- Weston Dressler isn’t guaranteed to play on Sunday, but it’s worth noting in 11 career starts against the Bombers he has 637 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
- Last weekend the Riders forced BC to kick on every possession of the game, other than the last one when they knocked down a final long pass attempt. They held BC to just three second-half first downs and 64 net yards.
- The Riders lead the league in rushing with 144 yards per game, however no rusher has led the team in yards more than two weeks in a row. Anthony Allen, Hugh Charles, Will Ford, and Jerome Messam have all contributed.
- John Chick leads the league with 12 sacks, and remains on pace to break the CFL single-season sack record of 36.5 set by James Parker in 1984.
- The Riders are the only team in the CFL this season with two or more sacks in every game. They’ve now recorded multiple sacks in 10 consecutive games, dating back to 2013.
- The Bombers and Riders rank first and second respectively in big plays this year, with 26 and 24.
- Linebacker Ian Wild set a 2014 league high for tackles in a game this season, when the Bomber recorded 14 against the Alouettes. That ties a Bomber all-time record set by Barrin Simpson back in July, 2009.
- Maurice Leggett had three interceptions last weekend, making him the first player since August, 2010 to achieve the feat. He now leads the CFL with five on the season.
- Drew Willy ranks second in the CFL in passing yards with 2,358 this season, only 84 yards behind Ray, who’s played more games. The last Bomber QB to lead the league in passing was Kevin Glenn in 2007.
- Clarence Denmark is second in the league in receiving this season with 591 yards, and first over the last five games – a span over which he has 414 yards on 24 catches, including 11 second down conversions.
Kickoff is at 4:00 P.M. ET, and can be seen live on TSN.
