Last week Reilly only threw for 192
yards but did a ton of damage with his feet. Although it was more due
to horrendous tackling by the Bombers D which allowed him to make
miracle escape time after time. but this week it should be quite a bit
tougher for him to do that against a CAL D that is very good and should
be well prepared after studying the tape.
And
with the unders hitting like crazy lately and potentially some heavy
winds and wet weather moving in I think the under is the play for the
total. Although I always get a bit nervous playing a CFL under when the
total is under 50. And the weather in Alberta can be beautiful to start
the game...borderline Armegedon for the 2nd and 3rd Q's. Then back to
clear sunny skies and not even a breeze so be careful trying to use the
weather as a focal point when capping outdoor sports in this province.
especially since the crazy storm everyone is mentioning is supposed to
not roll in until later this evening after the game is over.
But
regardless of the weather with Cornish being out I think that could
cause the STAMPS to not be able to move the chains as much as normal
which could mean a more low scoring tightly played defensive battle. especially with both teams doing very well protecting the ball this year.
As
for the side I do like the way the ESKS have started the year. But even
without Cornish I believe the STAMPS really are the better team. And
that the ESKS may have had a bit easier schedule. The caught a
Lulay-less BC team off gaurd with Glenn having one of the worst games of
his career. They then beat the two worst teams in the league in HAM and
OTT. And then last week they were GIFTED first downs all damn game by
horrible tackling.
While
the STAMPS STOMPED the AL's game one, went on the road and beat up on
the ARGOS. And then last week won a hard faught game at home. No they
didn't play their best last week against HAM but good teams, and for my
money CAL is the best in the league. They don't typically lay eggs in
back to back games.
Long story short I love the under and like the STAMPS.....BOL

For the 930585983055039th time this early season I'm left in utter
shock of a completely idiotic call of a coach to go for a foolish call.
At least 3 times this year a coach has went for a 2 point convert way
too early. And now one calls a return out of their own endzone on 3rd
and 10.
And it extra hurts since I had CAL/EDM FH tie to CAL ML for the game
at +2000 risking 0.1 units to win 2. And although it was only a yard
short. They give their opponent 1st and 10 at the 15 bloody yard line.
Bodio if you read this please stay away from this bush league it's not worth your time.

CFL:
(1)CAL/EDM SH U 24 -110 to win 1 unit
(2)CAL SH +1.5 -110 to CAL/EDM SH UNDER 24 -110 = +265 risking a half unit
