Canes -3

I took an early position on the Canes because I figured this line would climb.  Virginia is the worst team the Canes have faced this season as far as DI opponents are concerned.  The  Canes have an outstanding home record in the past.  The Canes have failed covering but this is a great position for them and the best line YTD in my opinion.  

The other reason I took this early is the option to get out or middle. 

Canes -3 -110 

Current line  -3.5 -115

Notes.

Iowa is 19-4 ATS last 24 as road favorites.

That is significant for the other dogs as I wont be betting against the Canes or the Hawkeyes.

Houston +3.5 certainly is an option but I am sure this is an opinion that the majority have eyes for.

Utah St. +8.5 is another one that catches my eye and its fortunate this is the last of the weekday games.  

BYU did great when facing elite talent before last week unimpressive win over a bad S.Florida team.  BYU since beating Boise late last season is 1-4 as favorites.  It seems likes the books took the easy money away from the momentum bettors after that contest and it has continued on this season.  

Utah St had a horrible shortened 2020 season and have since been back on track.  Covering 3 of 4 this season.

I have my eye on this line.

Now that the real conference games are ALL getting underway I will be looking for recent under performing dogs that will be favorites in week  6.  Let me see what I dig up.
